I followed the students down to the cafeteria.
"Thomas, what do I do?" I asked when I reached the cafeteria.
"Go and collect what you want. Just like at other schools."
So I did. The choices available were like other schools. So far this school was turning out to be just like any other school that I attended.
I sat quietly next to Thomas, who introduced me to his friends, who all play rugby and soccer. Most of the different groups all sat together; talking, chatting, making jokes. The teachers sat at the front, talking to each other.
It kind of reminded me of Hogwarts.
"So Mike, what do you think of St Roger's?" Harry asked (he was one of Thomas' friends).
"Well, it's normal, I don't think it'll be to hard to get expelled from here" I replied.
They all looked at me and laughed.
"What?" I asked.
"Normal" laughed Jake.
"Hard to get expelled" grinned Mark.
Thomas leaned towards me and said, "Have you heard anything about this school at all?"
"Nope."
Thomas looked at his friends and said, "Let's show him."
They stood up and cried two words that made the cafeteria go crazy. Those words were: 'Food fight.'
Thomas and his friends picked up their food and threw it in any direction possible. Soon, the whole cafeteria was ablaze with food flying through the air.
A potato beef pie flew towards the teacher's table and hit the Math Teacher, Mr Philips on the face. Mr Philips was your typical Math Teacher, with glasses and all cranky. However I would soon learn that he wasn't like any other Math Teacher.
Mr Philips stood up and scraped the pie from his face. He looked angry. He was shaking.
I placed my index fingers into my ear, excepting to see him yell at the top of his face, instead he threw the pie at another teacher and soon the teachers were involved in the food fight.
Ok, so I admit that this was not what I was expecting.
This school is different to what I originally thought it was. The teachers were cool. But yet I was to know that this school was much, much worse.
