It was summer break and I couldn't help but be excited.
My best friend Kaleb was staying over for the whole summer, while his family went to Nevada.
My mom lightly knocks on my door and opens it, "hey honey, it's getting late, don't forget to brush your teeth and pray."
"Alright mom." I said turning my Xbox off.
I look at her and she smiles at me and cracks my door.
I got up and walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth.
After I was done, I walked to my bedroom and prayed.
I had trouble sleeping due to being excited about Kaleb.
~Kaleb arrives~
"Bryer! Kaleb is here!" My mom yelled from downstairs.
I rush downstairs to see my tiny blonde friend at the door.
"What's up my boi." I said walking up to him and doing are handshake.
"Nothing much." He said putting his hands in his pocket.
"You guys hungry?" My mom asked.
"Im good." I said looking at Kaleb.
"I eat on the way here."
"Hey! I upgraded on Destiny and my character is amazing!" I said getting excited.
"Show me!" Kaleb said grabbing his bag of stuff.
I hear my mom laugh as we rush upstairs.
Kaleb walks into my room and he throws his stuff into one corner.
"Dude chill, my character ain't that cool." I said laughing.
He smiles, "I haven't been able to play video games for almost two months. I'm excited just to see all the upgrades and the shit I missed."
"You did miss some stuff." I said sitting on my bed.
He sits on the ground in front of me.
"But now, since it's summer, I can play all the video games!" He said make weird motions with his hands.
"Do you have that much money to play "all" the video games." I said giving him my smart ass look.
He gives me his death stare, "Don't be so literal."
I laugh, "I guess your ready to play."
"Yes!" He said grabbing the Xbox one controller.
I turn everything on for him and we started playing a game together.
