Chapter 2

Rex p.o.v

I woke up to the sound of humming, opening my eyes I turned around and saw the most beautiful women in the wold glancing out of the window while humming softly. She looked at me and smiled, it was a sad smile, I immediately knew that she had seen a nightmare. Ever since the entire Anakin turns into Darth Vader thing she had been plagued with nightmares, when the event was quite recent she would scream and thrash about, whimpering. Now the nightmares had mostly gone away, however they returned every now and then, on day like that she would stare out of the window and hum softly.

" Are you alright love?" I ask her, breaking the comfortable silence. I look into her beautiful aqua blue orbs, searching for an answer.

" I am fine," she quickly replied," do you want something to eat? freshen up in the refresher then come down, OK?"

I nodded before smiling at her, she smiled back then gave me quick peck on the cheek before going down. Staring at her retreating form as she exited the quarters, I think,I am so lucky. I have what most of my brothers would only dream of.

With that thought I peeled the warm covers off me and went to the refresher. As soon as came out I changed into a pair of dark blue jeans and a light blue top, I glanced at the mirror and chuckled to myself when I relised that my outfit was quite similar to the one ahsoka was wearing.

" What are you laughing at?" Ahsoka said as she peeked from around the door, she had a curious and slightly amused expression on her face.

" nothing, it's just....it's just that our outfits seem to match." I replied in between by fits of laughter.

She looked at me for a few seconds, frowning, then glanced at the mirror. Relisation crept onto her face, my outfit was very similar to hers, she was wearing a pair of dark blue jeans a light blue sleevless top and a locket with a picture of me and her on it. We looked at eachother then looked back in the mirror, straight afterwards we burst out laughing, ponting at eachother. Once we settled ourselves down we posed infront of the mirror for a bit. there was a moment of comfertable silence.

" Well, we should get down to breakfast, I made your favourate" Ahsoka said breaking free from my embrace and started walking towards the door. I followed her like an obidiant puppy.

When we got down, I practically jumped onto the chair and started scoffing the pancakes into my mouth. Ahsoka came with two cups of steaming hot chocolate and sat down next to me. I looked up at her at gave her a cheesy grin, she immediately started laughing. I stared at her like she had grown an extra head, she simply touched my lips with her thumb and showed me her thumb. On her thumb was a load of chocolate sauce, I took a napkin and wiped my mouth then looked at the large amount of chocolate on the napkin, suddenly both of us were laughing again. After we regained self control we kissed.

" I love you so much" She whispered

"Same here" I replied

" You honestly have know idea how much" She said looking into my eyes.

"I love you too, unconditionally." I said, I knew there was nothing that could ever brake this moment.

If only Rex knew how wrong he was, for in the near by forest a cloaked figure was approaching the house, fast.
