Full Moon Rising

Chapter 4

The next week was a hard one. Peter had my things taken back to his Pack House. Although I tried, desperately...Alec wouldn't budge. No matter how much I tried to talk to him...he was still mad.

The day of leaving has finally come, and even though it will be sad to leave my family, I am so excited to start my new life with my mate.

I got up that morning and got dressed. I went down stairs, and my family was already awake and making breakfast...including Peter.

"Good morning, beautiful." says Peter gently with a kiss on my head.

I noticed Alec scoff and get up.

I couldn't take this any more. Peter and I were mates. And we were gonna get married eventually. And Alec couldn't change that. I didn't want to leave on bad terms. I had to get him to atleast accept us.

"Alec, please... I don't want to leave with you mad at me. I'm sorry that my mate is the Alpha of another pack. I'm sorry that I have to move away. But finding my mate was the best thing that's ever happened to me. And I really want you to accept us. He would never do anything to hurt me." I finished.

I felt Peter right behind me, his hands on my waist.

Alec looked down.

"Audrey...I accept that you are mates... But I can't help but be uspet. As Luna, you have a bigger target on your back than ever." he says calmly.

I understood why he was worried... But he needed to let go. I couldn't stay in this house forever.

Alec pulled me into a hug.

"Audrey... I Alec Hudson, give my blessing to you, Audrey Hudson and Peter Carter, as her brother." he whispered in my ear.

I pulled back, my eyes filled with tears, I smiled at Alec.

"Oh my God, Alec thank you!" I said.

I pulled him into a big hug. We sat there for a moment, hugging. Suddenly, I feel Alec reach his arm out to Peter and pull him into our hug. We all sat there for a few moments, basking in each other's warmth, when I pulled away.

"Peter, we should probably get going." I said.

I smiled at Alec and went to get my last few bags from my room. Alec carried them down stairs and put them in the car.

"I love you, Audrey." starts Alec. "Make sure you visit often." he finishes with a smile.

I smiled back.

"Definitely." I replied.

Alec helped me in the car while Peter shook hands with my parents and Alec.

Peter got in the car and I said goodbye to Alec.

"Take good care of her." said Alec with a smile.

Peter nodded,

"You bet." he replied.

As we drove away...I couldn't help but recall all of my memories.

Playing in the front yard with Alec and Alice.

Sliding down the rails of the staircase.

Sitting at the dinner table with Alpha Derik and Luna.

"Your memories are beautiful." says Peter.

' Wow. Can he get any better?!' comments Brittany.

'Oh, I can.' says Peter quietly in my mind.

I fell asleep and woke up a few hours later.
