STORY TIME
KAIDEN'S POV
It's been four months since I me and Kayla have gotten back on good terms and no we aren't together yet. But I do spend everyday with her and Kaiden and I must admit I love being around them . Kaiden's a great kid and me and Kayla haven't argued since that night I left . So now I'm sitting here on Kayla's bed with Kaiden laying across my lap Watchin tv. Kayla just walked back in from the living room and walked straight to her closet " babe, can you watch Kaiden for me ? they called me into work for a few hours." Kayla asked. " Yea of course" I answered " you hear that Kaiden? It's just gonna be you and me today. We can have a boys day how does that sound?" I said to him . He sat up and toke a deep breath you mean just me and you daddy?! " He screamed causing me to look at him shocked and Kayla to freeze up. "umm.. Kaiden he's not--" Kayla started off and I instantly cut her off by saying "yea just you and daddy" and smiling at Kaiden "YES!! Now I gotta go put on my clothes " he said as he hopped off the bed and ran into his room . "Kaiden you didn't have to do that Kayla said walking to the bed and sitting next to me. " I know I didn't have to but I wanted to, I know how it feels to grow up with out a dad and if I can do something so he doesn't have to feel the way I felt growing up I will. it's an honor to me that he even looks up to me as his father. plus my mom and sisters already love him, shit he's been calling my mom granny since he met her " I said laughing at the last part " I mean are you sure you're up for this this means even if you walk out on me you'll still be in his life. this isn't just about us anymore it's about him too." she said seriously " I know that. you should know by now that I'm not going anywhere . I told her looking her straight In her eyes before I kissed her.
