The door to my house swung open as I raced up to my bedroom on the second floor. "How was school, dear?" My mom asked. I stopped in my tracks, "Good, I'm going upstairs, bye!" I yelled as I couldn't continued to run to my room. My mom's face looked so confused. I swiftly took out my phone and looked at my messages, no new ones. A sigh escaped my lips as I planted my head into my comforter. Suddenly my phone beeps. I immediately look at it and open the message.
Mom: what would you like for dinner, non present daughter of mine 😄
Me: um I don't know, how about take out?
Mom: alright what take out do you want?
Me: Chinese food.
Mom: sounds good, I'll order the usual.
Me: ok
I closed my phone and stared at it, clearly upset. My phone beeped again and it was from an unknown person.
Unknown: hey
Me: um who is this??
Unknown: it's Matt.
Me: oh hey how did you get my number?
Matt: I asked one of your friends.
Me: which one?
Matt: Jessica.
Me: Jessica C. Or Jessica B.?
Matt: Jessica B.
Me: oh ok.
Matt: I was observing if you would like to go on a date with me sometime?
Me: ok sure when and what time?
Matt: this Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
Me: ok I'll be ready by then.
Matt: ok ttyl.
Me: ok.
"Dinner!" my mom called at me. "Coming!" I replied. I run downstairs to the kitchen and grab my food then run to the living room. I grab the remote and turn on Netflix to watch Vampire Diaries.

I send one final text to Jessica before I close my phone and fall asleep. Tomorrow will be different I know it.

Hey guys it's Vicky. I hope this chapter was good like my other book. I didn't want to write that much that's why I did a time skip cause I'm lazy af. I'll hopefully be writing some more maybe tomorrow depending on my schedule.
