Chapter 7

MERIDA'S P.O.V

The Yule Ball was in just in a couple of hours and I still didn't have a date. How am I supposed to find one in just a few hours. Just my luck. Even though I'm the best and most famous Quidditch player in Gryffindor, nobody asked me out.

I decided to just go alone and hang out with my friends. I was walking down the hall to my quarters when a wimpy guy with brown hair bumped into me.

"Hey! Watch where yer goin'!" I yelled at him. I had no date and this guy just bumped into me, of course I was angry!

"Uhhhmm. I'm so, so, so sorry. Very sorry. Ermm my appologies. Uhh." He said. Oh wait he was Hiccup, the little squirt from Hufflepuff.

"Oh it's you Hiccup. Hi." I said to him. This was very awkward. I didn't mean to yell at Hiccup. He probably hates me now.

"Yeah well um. Merida I wanted to umm ask you something. Do you want to uhm? Is it getting a little hot in here? Uhhm." Hiccup stammered. I laughed at his stammering. I knew that he was going to ask me to go the Yule Ball with him. Every one would figure it out because of how nervous he is.

I played along and said "Come on Hiccup. I don't got all day ye know."

"Do...do you want to...uhm..go-to-the-Yule-Ball-with-me?" He asked. I smiled. Yes thank you. Finally, somebody asked me or I was going to go alone.

I was really excited inside, but I played it cool and said "Yes I would want to go Hiccup. I'll be ready in an hour!" I walked away, but I could hear him whisper "Yes!"

ELSA'S P.O.V. (AN: THIS IS THE PART WHERE THE MYSTERIOUS GUY ASKS ELSA TO THE DANCE)

I turned around to see the guy who just asked me out. He was slender, with fair skin, light freckles, and auburn hair. He also had sideburns and his eyes were a dreamy green. Oh my god. It was Hans. He was in Slytherin and it was his last year.

"Uhm well." I stammered on my words.

"I'm waiting for an answer you know." Hans said. I was thinking should I say yes. I didn't have a date and I needed one because I was a contestant. This might be my last chance. I don't like him, but this could be my last chance. Then again there is the fact that he breaks every single girls heart. There are many rumors that he is cruel. Plus he used a mean spell on Rapunzel once. I can't accept this. He was starting to give me an irritated look.

I took a deep breath and said "I'm sorry Hans, but I don't go out with guys that break others hearts for fun. I also don't go out with losers and you are one because you just lost me. BURN! Would like some ice with that?" He deserved to get burned because that was payback for making fun of Rapunzel last year. (AN: YEP THATS RIGHT ELSA IS SASSY. I CALL IT ELSASSY!!)

I turned and walked away with a bit of a strut. Well, now I don't have a date.

I was just about to go to my quarters when a voice behind me yelled "Elsa! Wait!"
I turned around to see if it was Hans, but it turned out to be Jack. Jack, what is he doing here?

"Elsa..Listen. I wanted to ask you something. You know I declined many offers for this because I was saving it for you." Jack said. I was really shocked and confused at what he said.

"Go..go on." I stammered. Oh my god his eyes were like big blue orbs.

"Elsa would like to go to the Yule Ball with me, if nobody asked you out already of course." Jack said with his blue orbs shining. I got asked out twice today. Oh my god. Jack Frost asked me out. I looked behind me to see if it was a joke.

"Who..wait you're asking me." I stammered. I hope my face wasn't as red as it felt like.

"Yes you," He raised his eyebrow. "Anyone would want a beautiful girl like you."

Well, I wanted to say yes, but what would Anna and Rapunzel think. He's a Slytherin!

"Of..of course I would like to go." I said. I felt really excited inside and I was ready to burst like a balloon with too much air.

"I will see you in an hour Hogwarts Champion." Jack smoothly said. I had to get ready! What am I going to wear! Ooh Anna and Rapunzel can help. I rushed to where they would be at.

HAN'S P.O.V

Did that Elsa girl just say no to my offer? Hmm. Pitch will be angry at me. How am I supposed to make a move on her? All of a sudden Pitch comes out of the shadows.

"Did she accept?" He asked.

"No." I said glumly. His face showed anger.

"Well I need her powers, so you better get her to me." He whispered.

"I will try." I said.

"Remember our deal." He said as he vanished into the shadows. What was I going to do? I need to find Elsa's weak spot. Hmm...Anna? I laughed.

Perfect.

ELSA'S P.O.V

"Anna! Rapunzel!" I screamed as I ran into Rapunzel and my quarters in the Ravenclaw place.

"What happened Elsa! Is something wrong!?" Anna asks in confusion. I'm laughing giddily. Anna and Rapunzel just stare then they both say "You got asked out didn't you?"

"Yes and it was by Jack Frost!" I say smiling, but they aren't smiling.

"And you said yes to Jack Frost. He's a Slytherin Elsa!" Rapunzel says angrily.

"But he's soo cute and I think he likes me!" I say.

"Alright fine, Elsa, but don't fall for him just yet. He's a Slytherin and he might break your heart." Anna says.

"You know Hans asked me out too, but I said no." I said proudly.

"Good job, Elsa, but we need to get you a dress. Rapunzel and I are ready." Anna says.

I just pick a beautiful light blue dress that shimmers like ice from my closet. Then I put my hair in a braid that goes down my shoulder and I apply some makeup. Anna's dress is a cyan blue with pink lace. Rapunzel's dress is a pink with white lace on the edges.

We all look beautiful.

"Who are you guys going with?" I ask.

"Anna is going with Kristoff and I'm going with Flynn!" Rapunzel exclaims. Rapunzel with Flynn. That is nuts, but oh well I think they think the same for me and Jack. Well the Yule Ball awaits and I hope it goes well.
