' she looks so perfect standing there in my American apparel underwear and I-" I groan and answer the call ,
"sooo how did the date go ?!" Charla squeals down the phone
"oh hey Charla , sorry just woke up" I yawn
"Nicol you do know it's 7:50 and your shift starts at 8:15 right ?she asks
"oh my God , look I'll tell you all about it at work later , I need to get ready!" I panickly replied , getting out of bed.
"sure kk" she replies laughing
I tumble out of bed and jump in the shower , get dried an dressed into my work clothes , dry my hair and quickly straighten it , switch them off , remove my makeup and apply my foundation , mascara , concealer and natural eye shadow in 5 minutes tops. I grab my skates put them in my rucksack with my purse , phone and make up bag , stick on a pair of flats on. and skip breakfast as its 8:05 , so I brush my teeth , gurgle some mouth wash and spit. right , I'm ready , so I grab my ruck sack and leave my apartment and lock it. it's 8:10 on my cars clock so I speed up slightly and arrive on time for work. I walk in and Charlas got a huge grin on her face . in 3 .... 2 .... annnndd 1 "soooooo how did it go??" she asks with excitement , I dump my stuff in the staff room and tie my skate laces and apron on and pull Charla into the ladies toilets.
"right , so I'll make it snappy , he picked me up with a limo , a red rose , champagne , the lot. we went to the resteraunt and neither of us new what any if the dishes were , we joked around about leaving to get kfc , and we actually did , we chatted , smiled , laughed and went for a stroll after , held hands , I didn't bring a jacket so he gave me his and we got a taxi back . and then before we parted he pulled my lips to his and we kissed passionately and yeah we said bye and that we need to see each other again and yeah we parted..." I huff because of the fact that I spoke non stop. and Charla stared at me , big eyes , gawking , priceless expression . "you lucky cow !!" we did our happy dance and were disrupted by the cleaner. so we walk out and she randomly hugs me , "I'm so happy for you" she exclaims "awh thanks Charla" I tighten my hug and we get to work.
