Chapter 2: Deducing The Suspects

A/N: Hey new chapter, and this one's pretty long, but, it's here so that's all I care about. Anyways, hope you like the chapter.

It was a new day, Shady had requested to meet up with everypony, all except Luna and Emerald who had been working on a new stolen item and agreed to meet in the castle, the mane six were currently walking over there talking.

Twilight: I wonder what Shady wants.

Rarity: Probably just wants to talk about the newest stolen item darling.

Rainbow: Well it better be important, I don't wanna just have my time wasted.

Fluttershy: I don't mind visiting him... as long as he isn't mean...

Twilight: He wasn't really mean with us last time, so I doubt he would be this time, stern and blunt possibly, but not mean.

Twilight soon opened the door, and saw Shady looking down at what seemed to be cards.

(Shady's theme)

Shady: Hello everyone, glad you could make it.

The ponies walked up to him and sat at the table in the middle of the castle.

Shady: After doing some research I have confirmed that the criminal we are going after is using the alias "Renegade"

Twilight: How did you manage that?

Shady took out a deck of cards, each one having a different letter.

Shady: The letters that we have currently gotten from the crime scenes are R, A, E, and D.

Upon listing each one he would put the card with the letter he announced on the table.

Shady: Upon that the names of the sections of the museums they were stolen from were "Exotic Findings," "New History From Today," "Extinct Species," and "Glimmering Past Beauties."

Shady put the names of the museums on the table as well by cards.

Shady: However, if you use the first letter of each museum name...

He took out all the letters of each name except the first one.

Shady: You get, two more E's, an N, and a G, and if you unscramble them...

Shady moved the cards around until it spelled "Renegade."

Shady: Just like that, it seems too much of a coincidence to just ignore, so if this is the case, then when Luna and Emerald come back, they will probably state there was no letter this time...

Twilight: I see...

Shady soon took the cards back and put them away and got new ones, these ones had pictures of ponies that had lived in Equestria.

Shady: If you recall, Photo Finish had taken a picture of you a few days ago, this was of request by me so I can have these pictures, I had tried to get pictures of most the things that had lived in Equestria, since it would take too long to get everypony.

Twilight: Are these..?

Shady: Suspects, so far, with no knowledge of where anypony was, everypony is a suspect, now, taking a recap of the events, on the first day of robberies Mayor Mare had a town meeting, because despite the fact that there's a princess, we're keeping the Mayor around... anyways, when she had held the meeting the whole town had go-
