Happy Halloween

Unity was sitting on a chair outside the house that had a party she didn't want to be there, the whole reason she was invited was because it was one of the cheerleaders party and sadly she was one of them.

She was dressed in a white dress with black ink staining it. She had feathered wings on her back with them being ash and burnt with feathers missing from them.

She wore boots that went up to her knees that were an inky black with white laces.

She was what others would refer to a corrupted angel.

She had made the costume herself and was very proud of herself to have her hard work pay off.

However she wasn't enjoying the party, it wasn't really her scene and all the people were just getting in her bubble.

It was pretty clear to see she was not having fun and just wanted of go home.
"Hey what are you doing out here?" a girl asked from behind her. She turned and saw Maddie one of the girls who hated Unity.

Unity didn't even know why she hated her, she just did.

"Let me rephrase that why are you here in the first place" the bitch continued, now Unity had just had enough of her and decided to turn back around.

"Oh the silent treatment, or are you just being yourself," when that failed to get a rise out of Unity she decided to go a different approach.

"I'm surprised you came in a costume, just pull your hair back and show that hideous scar and you'll scare anyone" when she saw Unity's hand curl into a fist she knew she had struck a nerve. She smirked and continued her taunts.

"I can't imagine what it would be like to have something like that on my face" She said and Unity lowered her head. Her hair falling back in her face.

"God forbid you did, then you wouldn't have any redeeming qualities. Your looks are all you got" someone said. Both the girls turned around and saw it was Valkyrie, Unity smiled with relief, while Maddie looked a little scared of the girl.
"Now I'm gonna say this once, stay away from her or I'll make your life hell," Maddie stepped away from the two and went back inside with her metaphorical tail between her legs.
Valkyrie went over to Unity's side. She wrapped her arm around her and pulled her into a hug.

That was when she felt her shirt become a little wet. She pulled away ash saw there were small tears in her eyes.
"Unity, don't le want she said get to you, scar or no scar your beautiful and despite what you've been through you're the sweetest person in the world." Valkyrie said, not giving Unity time to deny the claim she pulled her into a kiss.

They pulled away from each other and Unity smiled.
"I think the title of sweetest thing in the world goes to you Val" she smiled.

Unity and Valkyrie stayed out side just to talk.

"By the way Valk what are you dressed as?" Unity asked talking in the costume that her girlfriend was wearing.

(in all honesty, I don't know how to describe Mercy from overwatch)

"She's from a game called overwatch, her name is Mercy, I really like her" Valkyrie said.
"Oh okay, I don't really like video games all that much" Unity told her.
Valkyrie laughed and wrapped her arm around her and Unity turned to face her.

"Happy Halloween," they both said in unison. Sharing a kiss between them.
