The scientists say that the ozone layer has thinned, a lot. The water level in the lake near my house has risen tenfold....The bridge is almost completely washed away. They will probably just build a new one, but on higher ground, the hill between my house and the lake protects us. Maybe I'll convince my dad to take me swimming later. I'll be sure to wear losts of sunscreen, I mean, it can't be that bad.

Bangladesh, to our south is experiencing severe floods, many refugees have moved into Southern China, seeking dry land. The government is trying to force them back, but its not working. Tension is increasing...I don't know how much longer it will be until they use deadly force.....My parents are worried, but I don't know. The tides are rising now, but I think we're alright.....for now.
