It is Sunday, and that means we all meet up for dinner. It's sort of the groups thing, breakfast Friday and dinner Sunday. We all decide on The Ninety-Nine Restaurant, which is right across the street. Wyatt and I make sure to sit next to each other. After we get our food, Wyatt speaks.

"I've wanted to do this for a long time. So I guess I'm going to do it now," he says, looking at me. I look around, very confused

"Will you go out with me y/n?" I feel my face turn the color of the sauce on the pasta I was eating. Everyone eagerly looks at me, desperate to know my answer. Say yes. You know you like him. You can't deny it. That boy was right. But then I think of my mom.

"I-I can't," I mumble, not being able to make eye contact with anyone. When I look up, Wyatt is gone. I feel tears burn up in my eyes.

"What the hell was that?" Jaeden asks from the other side of me. The tears are out now, and Jaeden hugs me.

"Come, lets talk about this somewhere else," Noah tells everyone, and we all leave, our food, barely touched.

We walk to the park, all freezing our asses off, but no one cares.

"Y/n," Jack says. "Why'd you say no?" Suddenly, a light bulb clicks in Millie's head.

"Y/n, you're not your mom, and Wyatt isn't your dad." I think back. To how my mom felt, how she acted. How I felt, when my idiot of a dad left us. I was only five, but all my memories of him are bad. My mom was a mess after that. Instead of her taking care of me, it was vise versa.

"I have let you push away wayyy too many people, but I'm not letting you push away him."

I'm still crying, but in a good way now.

"You're right Millie, you're so right." We hug, all of us hug. In this big bundle of people who are all shivering.

"Where do you think he went?" Chosen asks.

"Shit," Gaten and Caleb say in unison.

"I think I have an idea," I tell them.

"Well, what are you waiting for, GO GET YOUR SPICY MAN HUNK!" Jack yells. I laugh and sprint off back to the hotel.

A/N: Well shit...
