Chapter 1: The Meeting
" Delilah, I have to tell you a secret, that you will soon share with me. Meet me at the bench after school ok? You know what bench I am talking about, right?" I told BFF Delilah
"Yeah, that one right?" She said pointing at the bench outside the school.
I shook my head yes. We walked in different directions to get to class before the late bell rung. I was going to social studies and she was going to writing, which was the other side of the school. I got there just in time. The hour went by so fast. We stacked our chairs, good thing we both ride our bikes to school and back. The bell rang and I bolted for the front of the building. I grabbed the stuff from my locker and headed to the bench. I waited for almost 5 minutes when she finally showed up.
"Well?" Delilah said "What's your secret?"
"I can't tell you here there are too many people." I said back
"Well then where are we going to go?" Delilah asked
"To the abandoned pool..." I told her
"WHAT!?!?!?!!!???!?!?" Delilah yelled, "Why would we go there?"
"Yes that's what I said... We need to go there." I told her
"Ok fine but that place is creepy." Delilah agreed
