A New Friend

Danny's P.O.V

Mitch went downstares and a few minutes later we heard him yell "it's ok you can come down now".  We got up and Jerome asked "you ready?".  "As ready as i'll ever be" i said and we walked downstares.  Adam walked up to me and hugged me in a big bear hug.  "I'm sorry" he said "i'm so sorry".  "It's okay it was the truth somethimes it's a bitter pill to swallow he took it better than i thought he would though."  "It is Not the truth" Ty said in the backround.  I looked at him.  He looked at me.  He blinked and i shouted "YOU LOSE! Haha"  and ran off towards the kitchen.  "hey no fair i call a rematch!"  "NOPE!" i said I got out all the things i needed for pancakes. 

<45 min later>

"Come on guys breakfast!" i yelled.  I heard several pairs of feet shuffle towards the kitchen.  "Finially" i heard someone say but everyone stopped dead in there tracks when they saw what i had made.  Eight plates of pancakes were set out on the dining room table with a little pot of flowers from the yard each plate had a name tag next to it.  Each was different too.  Like I remembered Jerome liked caramel so his was buttermilk pancakes with caramel on top.  And Adams had banana pancakes with cinnamon sprinkled on top.  And each had either coffee next to it or tea or even diet coke.  They all gaped at me in awe.  "Come on sit down" i said.  "I forgot we even had a table" adam said as he sat down by his name tag.  "How did you know i like caramel?"  Jerome asked "well you put it on your ice cream and in your room you have caramel popcorn so in other words a lucky guess." i said. He smiled.  "I feel under dressed" Ian said jesturing to his minecraft t-shirt, boxers and socks.  I laughed.  "Why did you do this?" Ty well i felt like i still owed you for not freaken out and I kinda needed something to do."  I said with a shy smile.  "Come on everyone EAT" i said they picked up there forks and took the first bite.  They stared at me in shock.  "Where did you learn to cook like this?" Tyler asked (I am gonna call Brotato Tyler and Deadlox Ty just saying) "Well I had kitchen duty every week at the adoption center we never cooked anythind like this but i know how to make pancakes so" I replyed.  "Mitch i think someone just stole your job as chef."  jerome said.  I smiled and blushed.  "So"  Adam said "Christmas is coming in a few weeks you excited?".  "I guess, we never celebrated any holidays at the aboption center or even birthdays for that matter." .  "No CHRISTMAS!" Jerome said disbelieveing. "Nope" i said "you haven't lived" cried Jerome.  "Thats one question we never asked, you when is your birthday?" adam asked.  "January 1"  "thats in three weeks!" he said "Ya so?" i asked.  "You are gonna have the best birthday ever."  "Don't worry i don't need a party i just want cake."  "No." jerome said "your a part of this family now and EVERYONE gets a birthday party okay?!" .  Just then i started crying not tears of sadness tears of joy. His face went worrysome "i'm sorry i mean if you really don't want one we...."  i put my finger to his lips "No no thats just the first time you called me part of the family." I said smiling.  "Oh" he smiled back.  Adam cleared his throat "well every year we invite all my friends over and decorate the house and the tree so are you ready to meet some new people?" he asked "sure but can i take a shower first i stink" i said smiling.  "Of course" he said "I think Ian needs to dress up more too." he added.  We looked at him and he said "no i'm gonna go tree shopping in this".  "And we will pretend like we don't know you" Tyler added.  I laughed.  

<Boring stuff like doing the dishes and taking a shower>  i just relised that i never told you what she really looks like sorry!

I got out of my purple shower (Adam postpoined the unvailing of my room until Christmas) he said Ashley  (Jeromes GF) usally sleeps in the purple room but that we would have to share. The bed was definetly big enough for two.  I dried off my hair and ran a brush through it.  It was a curly mess i have almost platnim blonde curly hair to about my middle back.  I also have weird silver eyes.  I only had boys jeans so i put on a pair and an enderman t-shirt that said "I'LL POP UP ANYWHERE!!!" and my black converse.  I walked downstares i heard adam and jerome the loudest and a couple other voices i didn't reconise.  Once i came into view Adam came over and stood by me.  "This is Danny. Danny meet Ashley, Seto, SSundee,  Ryan (xrpmx13), and bodil."  "Hi" i say.  Then Ashley gets up "Finially another girl!" she says i smile she smiles back.  "You have such pretty hair is it naturally this way?"  "yes" i say "I don't know how to take care of it though" i admit.  "Well i can come help only you if you want of course."  "I woud really like that!" i said and we ran upstares.  

<30 minutes later>

Ashley had brushed my hair for 10 minutes till there was no tangles then put up my hair in a french braid.  Then she raided my closet and looked at me "you only have boy clouthes?!"  "Yeah" i said "I was in an adoption center until about a few days ago.  Then she grabbed me by the arm and dragged me downstares.  "Mr.Adam!" she yelled "Yesssss" he yelled back.  "She only has boy clothes!"  "Umm yeah thats where we though you would come in." he said.  "Okay i'm taking her shopping right now."  she said dragging me out the door adam gave me $100 and we took off towards the mall.  Once we got there she asked me what my style was and showed me some magazines.  I picked up a boys magazine and pointed at the cover to a boy in jeans and an Avengers t shirt.  "Okay tomboy style. I can work with that."  After 3 hours of shopping we had gotten a bunch of stuff.  It was really boyish yet the girlish things i  had ever worn.  They were perfect.  Once we got home i went upstares and got out skinny jeans, a t-shirt that said "tomboy and proud of it", an army jacket, and my black converse.  I walked downstares.  "Now thats more like it" ashyley said.  All the boys staired at me.  "I told you to by new clothes not a new person." adam said.  "Good job Ash" jerome said and kissed her.  "Ready to go pick out a new Christmas tree Danny?" adam asked.  "Sure Dad"  i smiled at him he staired at me then smiled back.  We all piled into 4 cars.   Ashley sat in the back with me and Adam and Jerome sat up front.  Seto, SSundee, Ryan, and Bodil got into the truck and the rest got into other cars.
