A Typical Morning

I see Lights... many lights... red... blue, and white...I also herd voices. People were crying some shouting orders, others whispered. I could also see and hear the soft beating of the rain, everything was ciaos around me. But I couldn't feel it, all I could feel was.... cold.... everything was cold, but then  I realized an accident had occurred. I looked around and saw my family who were crying, and I wondered who had died in my family that I didn't know. Then I looked at the body lying on the ground.... It was.... Me.

I jolted out of my bed gasping, my heart still beating fast. I sighed It was that dream again, but it had been a while since I dreamed about that day. I shook my head and looked a the window, Its morning already.... I should wake Sol up. I said to myself and padded to my roommate's bed, there lay a snoring redhead who fell asleep doing her homework. I sighed.

"Sol! Sol! Wake up it's morning already!" I yell at her loudly enough to wake her up.

"Mmm, five more mins..." She mumbled before falling asleep again, I sighed again and began jumping on her bed shouting:

"WAKE UP! ITS MORNING ALREADY!" Which of course caused her to fall off her bed, but not before rapping my ears with a high pitch scream.

"Ugh, fine. I'm awake, I'm awake..." Sol got up from the floor and trudged to the kitchen, I walked behind her. She made breakfast immediately  when she arrived at the kitchen, she served me first and I scarfed my meal down, while she took her time. I took my dish to the sink when I finished and went back to the kitchen table.

"Hey, Azze gev reavy fof our wallk." Sol said with her mouth full, I exhaled.

"Sol, although I understood you don't talk with a mouth full! Its bad manners!" I scolded and walked back to our room where I laid  down and waited. Soon Sol walked in and entered her walk-in closet, and then finally we left our apartment to begin our daily walk. We walked until the nearest park, which had a playground, a pretty pond, and a fountain. We sat near the shore of the pond for a break, although I wasn't tiered Sol was out of breath. (But that's partly my fault for making her run part of the way here.) Soon a tall blond guy that was running in the path noticed us and walked over to where we were, and began a conversation with Sol.

"Hey beautiful, how are ya'?" The blue eyed blond asked casually, giving Sol a pearly white smile.

"We where fine before you came." I grumbled, I know what he wants and I wont let him.

"Oh, um I'm fine thank you for asking." Sol replied with a plain smile.

"That's good, do you come here often?" He asked her, I growled softly I really didn't like this guy.

"Yes actually, I come with him every day in the mornings. " She replied completely oblivious to the situation.

"Him? Oh you mean him!" The blond guy said a bit nervously, but vanished when he realised she was talking about me.

"So how about I join you tomorrow morning?" He suggested with a sly smile, I growled a little more loudly but not audible enough. I then noticed a group of girls eyeing the blond guy and whispering to each other, I also noticed yellow wild flowers.  I ran to the small patch of flowers and picked three I then ran to them, bowing before them and giving them a flower each. I noticed the girls blushing and giggling, but I knew what was about to happen in 3....2....1...

"ACE!" Called it, I heard Sol yell out sprinting to me and the girls, completely abandoning the blond guy. "I am so sorry! He can get exited sometimes, sorry if he scared you." Sol apologized immediately.

"Oh, don't worry about it! He did not scare us." One girl with freckles on her nose contradicted.

"Yeah, in fact he is really sweet! He brought us these flowers!" The other girl with dark skin agreed.

"Wait- Did you tell him to do that?" The first girl asked, and I intervened.

"No, ladies the guy over there did." I said pointing to the blond guy sitting next to the pond.

"Oh, he did?" The girl asked me and I nodded. which she replied with a giggle and thanked Sol and then her and her friends went talk with the guy. Sol sighed and glared at me, "What. The. Heck. Ace. I told you many times not to do that!"

"I wouldn't have if you weren't so dense." I argued back, but Sol ignored me pulling something out of her pocket.

"Listen Ace, don't do that again you hear?" Sol grumbled clipping the leash to my collar.

"You don't even listen to me!" I snapped but Sol ignored me again, causing me to sigh. Again

"Good, so now we are on the same page, lets go." Sol said pulling my leash gently. Oh, I bet you are super confused on what just happened right? Well, if you haven't already figured it out, I'm a dog. A German Shepherd to be exact, and Sol is my owner. But I'm also her soulmate which honestly sucks 'cause I'm a frickin' dog. I have a sight that allows me to see a red string on peoples pinky that connects them to there soulmate, or what people normally call it the 'red string of fate.' But I prefer the ' annoying-red-string-that-only-I-can-see-that-gets-me-in-trouble', all human souls have it binding them forever. But of course humans are dumb and don't realize it, like Sol. But its not her fault its partly mine for dying early, yeah that's right I'm a reincarnation and remember most of my past life's memories. Like graduating, my family, my girlfriend, collage, and even up to my death.  But all of it doesn't matter anymore cause this is my new life and I found my true soul mate, but the only issue is.... I'm. A. Dog. I can't do anything, and it frustrates me but... I wish I could turn human even if its just a min. I get that it is a lot of info for the first chapter but i needed to tell you. Anyway its time for ice cream!
