The Forgotten Sin

Run or stay?

The look in his eyes so pure and so strong. I shivered noticing that he was determined to get an answer.
"So you did touch her in weird ways?!"
Hawk scowled at Meliodas.
"I was only doing it to see if she had any other scabs.." he's replied innocently. 'What if he's one of them that's after me?!' I thought. 'Yet he seems so familiar it's scaring me..'.
I was starting to fight with myself on whether I should run or not. Finally I made up my mind and bolted for the door. Meliodas looked up surprised at my sudden move, and followed me with great swiftness as he jumped over the counter and followed me outside. I ran as fast as I could trying to ignore the sharp pain on my side. I collapsed no longer being able to go on. He ran over and stares at me on the ground. His hands in his pockets he circled me once.
"Why did you run?" He asked as he stared at me on the ground.
'No reply'
He came a little closer and stooped over to look at my face.
"Is it something about that mark?"
He asks again.
I stay silent again. I'm not letting anyone capture me just yet.
"Oi? Sakomi?" He waves his hand In front of my face.
"I'm not gonna let you catch me just yet.." I muttered pushing myself up off the ground with the strength that remained. I stood up shakily and got into a fighting stance. Meliodas cocked his head in confusion.
"What do you mean not gonna let yourself be caught? I'm not gonna hurt you if that's what you mean." He says calmly and walks closer to me. I step back slightly. He puts a hand on one of mine and pushes it down. I look at him confused and release my fighting pose.
"Sorry.." I manage to say.
"Heh it's okay!" He says his expression returning to a his normal smile.
"We can talk about it inside if that's what you feel comfortable with?" He asks slightly concerned. I nod in response and follow him back.
" the thing is..." I start talking after we walk inside and I close the door." I'm a run away.." I say looking away.
" why'd you run away?" He asks walking behind the counter.
"To find the seven deadly sins...and also to get away from my "family"." I say sadly my voice cracking from the tears building up.
"Now you made her cry?!" Hawk says madly to meliodas.
"That's not my fault."he said innocently.
"S-sorry..." I say wiping the tears from my eyes.
" it's okay!" He says giving me a reassuring smile. I run to him and hug him instinctively as of I'd hug my real father. I can tell Meliodas is surprised at first but smiles and chuckles giving back the warm embrace. I've been wanting to hug someone for so long and I just felt that was the perfect moment.
"It's alright Y/N.." he says his voice slightly quieter.
