Rachael's POV I ran into Daniel I almost cried. " Oh um, Sorry." I walked away fast so he wouldn't touch me. I ran to my apartment and locked the door behind me. I got a text from one of my old friends Lucy.
Me: Hey Lucy what's up? Lucy: I need to tell you something. Me: Yea? Lucy: Max died. Me: What sorry I gotta go.
I wiped away my tears. Max was me and Lucy's childhood friend since the second grade. He was diagnosed with cancer when he was 10. I felt bad for him. Now seeing that he is gone I cried. I sobbed into my pillow. His funeral was here in Los Angeles. The next day I woke up and got ready. I walked in the funeral home to see Lucy crying her and Max were close. They were boyfriend and girlfriend. I tried to stay strong but I just left one tear slip down my cheek. We walked outside with Max's casket. I was about to lay down the white rose when the wind moved my hair in my face.

As soon as it ended I walked to my apartment and saw Daniel on the door. " Hey I wanna talk to you about something?" " Yes?" Wiping a tear with my hand off my face. Daniel looked at me and asked me what's wrong. " Nothing." I unlocked the door and let Daniel come in. He hugged me. At first I didn't want too but it felt so right as we hugged he asked me to be his girlfriend I said.......
