"Have you ever felt those sudden chills? The cold rush traveling down your spine. They say that's the unforgiving grasp of death. Trying as hard as he may, to pull you into the darkness. One day he will succeed, for you see, we are not guaranteed to wake up tomorrow." ~Anonymous 2012

Your alarm shouts at you to wake up.
You quickly turn it off hoping that it didn't wake them.
Bending up, you see the dark, gloomy mess in your room. Well it's pretty much like that throughout the house, considering that nobody does anything about it.
Gently tiptoeing out of your room, you hear a thud from your parents room.
You quickly grab your shirt and pants from the pile of clothes in the living room and putting them on as you're hurrying out the door.
Thank gosh they didn't hear you.
You're freezing, walking down the cold pathway down the familiar road.
Hands in your skinny jean pockets.
You're just quietly thinking to yourself.
You look up from your deep day dream and see the last thing you want to see now.
"SKANK!" "TRY-HARD!" "Hahahah!" "What a looser!" "GO JUMP OF A BRIDGE WILL YA!"
There's the 5 bullies of the town. They especially hated you because they knew of your home life.
"WHATS ON YOUR ARMS AYE?" "WHAT? CAT GOT YA TONGUE?"
You keep your head down as they continue the brutal mental abuse.
They were such horrible people. Also known for being huge potheads. They consisted of;
Jack, he was once the smart kid of the class, such a promising boy.. It's a shame what marihuana does..
Priss, She was the lead girl. The bitch of the group. She was one of the harshest.
Sandra, She was Priss's little lap dog, she'd always agree with anything she said.
Phil, The scruffy one. His family is worse then mine. Selling drugs and black market guns.
And the last is of course Matt. He's the most vicious of them all. Telling you to kill yourself at the worst.
You walk across the road to the other side to avoid their hurtful words.
"Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will never hurt you."
What a load of bull.
Words hurt the most.
You scurry to get to Tylers front yard, being that it's so cold.
Knocking on the door, you try not to shiver but it's absolutely impossible.
He opens the door and gives you a big bear hug and kisses your forehead.
"Dont do that." You say as he gives you a cheeky smile.
You only want to be friends but he's always going to be the sweet boy you've known since you moved here in year 2. Being in year 10 now, it's a lot different.
He invited you into his room, always clean and tidy. You wonder how he does it.
You have a bruise on your neck, but you didn't realise.
