When It's Over

Day 2

12 hours later....

"Adam, does Lila know about... this?" Adam's father gestured towards Adam as he lay on his appointed bed the nurses had gave him. Adam only shook his head as a response, no words could express how much pain he went through. Both psychical and emotionally; Psychically, he had been non-stop vomiting out of pain, he had to rock himself hours on end because he couldn't simply sit or stand.Emotionally, he could not and would not tell Lila, as much as he tried to tell Lila it was alright he couldn't he wanted so much to comfort her and tell her it's fine.

Lila had waited outside for a while until it was 3 am and she had fallen asleep outside the door and the doctor had taken her home.

"I just c-cant." With all his might he honestly not to cry, but he failed. Tears came streaming down his face.

His father shook his head and said. "She something special ain't she?" Adam went to respond but his father pulled him into a hug, just like he used too.

*FLASHBACK*

"Hey guys, that's my ball," 7 year old Adam said to a group of boys a year older than Adam.

"We don't care do we boys?" The boys nodded in agreement."It's mine now so...GO!" The so called leader said while pointing his chubby finger at him. Adam looked taken back and said.

"Well at least I don't look like a...a," Adam thought of words while the fat boy laughed, that's when he saw how fat that boy was."WALRUS!'' And with that he left the "Walrus" standing gobsmacked. He ran to his dad which only a five minute walk away.

"Dad, they s-stole my b-ball so I-I said he was a walrus-and...'' Adam sobbed. His father looked at him and smiled and said.

"Where's a shot gun when you need one?" Adam giggled quietly and let his father pull him into a bear hug.

*FLASHBACK OVER*

Lila looked at her surroundings and was shocked to see Adam munching his breakfast when she swore he was at the hospital. Lila found herself sitting on the couch.

"How was your nap?'' Adam asked with his mouth full.

"Adam b-but you had a coughing fit a-and..." She said bewildered.

"Ornament, I had an asthma attack. Bad dream?" He chuckled.

"M-maybe wait no, I could've swore you were at the hospital! Or wait I might've gone back in time,'' She assumed like it was possible.

"Well did I do this back in time?" He mocked then leaving his breakfast and jumped on Lila attacking her with kisses, Lila giggled madly until he stopped.

"Ornament, sit!" He commanded. Lila did as she was told.

"Second gift!" She smiled eagerly hoping she would like it. Adam opened a small box and inside was a necklace with a pendant on it that was a key with a diamond in the middle. It read 'From the start, you had the key to my heart," Lila sighed dreamily and pulled Adam into  a hug.

"Hey Adam, lets do something," Lila moaned.

"Okay what do you want to do?" Adam asked smiling. "Wait I know... Lets watch PewDiePie!"

"No! Wassabi!" Lila said angrily.

"You only like it because of Alex!" Adam said harsly.

Adam up watching both but Adam would constantly glare at Alex, while Lila would occasionally sigh dreamily which made Adam tense up the turn off the computer.
