"Where are you going??" Lilliana blinked confused as she sat up rubbing her eyes to see that Rudolph and Anna were out of their beds while Gregory was the one who had talked. She watched them unsure if she could stop them or not. After a moment she soon realize she should at least find out what they were doing. Rudolph ended up telling Gregory to go back asleep but Lilliana moved towards the steps and stopped them before they left.
"What are you doing?" Lilliana hissed looking at the both of them. She could tell that it wasn't nearly dark out so where would they be going? "It's still morning"
"Tony called for me.. he needs help" Anna told her looking between Rudolph and Lilliana. Lilliana's eyes widened before looking them over. They seemed to have figured out a way to get outside and it worked for the two of them but if Tony really needed help she wasn't going to waste time to find a way to make her be able to walk in the sun.
"Okay go but be safe" Lilliana told them both before watching them walk up the steps. She moved away from the sunlight shining into the room before going back to where she was sleeping.
"I'm surprised you let them go" Gregory said quietly not to wake his parents.
"It would be better if there was three of them looking for the stone" Lilliana told him.
"I'm sorry about what I said last night"
"What" Lilliana looked at him stunned but Gregory just huffed and closed his wooker coffin.
"You heard me" Gregory mumbled silently. Lilliana blinked for a moment of surprise before letting out a faint smile and laid back down. Unlike Lilliana thought, she was asleep within minutes of laying back down only to be woken up by Gregory.
"Come on, It's time to make the call" Gregory told her as he held the part of the amulet that his father wore around his neck. Lilliana looked at him surprised when she realized he was out of his straight jacket and he seemed to realize that making him smirk. "I could have gotten out the whole time, I was just humoring them now lets go" He pulled her up to her feet before leading the way out of the cellar.
Once the pair of them were outside, Gregory shrugged on the amulet before the two of them shared a look and a pair of faint smiles before turning into their bat forms. The trip wasn't as long as Lilliana thought it might have been but soon they dropped to the grassy ground of the cliff top and changed back into their normal forms.
"How do you make the call?" Lilliana asked as their feet touched the soft grass. Gregory slipped off the amulet and gave Lilliana a smile. Her lips formed into a smile as well, she hadn't spent much time with Gregory but this side of him was the side that she preferred. He walked more towards the end of the cliff area and adjusted the chain of the amulet so it was was as long as possible before he started to spin it in the sky making a slight humming noise and she wondered if it was because she was so close or if that was the call for the rest of the clan to hear.
"Do you think they will make it?" Gregory asked as he spun the amulet around. Lilliana looked over to him and realize that he was talking about Tony and his siblings. Lilliana moved closer to him not scared about getting hit by the swinging amulet.
"Of course" Lilliana said softly looking up at him "Just have faith" She said more with an unsure tone in her voice. "I must thank you and your family..before meeting you all I've felt so alone. I thought that trying to be part of the mortal world I wouldn't feel so lonely but it just made the feeling worse some how. I learned to ignore it but after meeting Rudolph it was a struggle to spend one night alone" Lilliana told him honestly as she looked towards the water then to the moon as the comet was slowly moving towards it. "I just.." She stopped talking unsure what else to say.
