She ran, Zaharia ran. The white dress trailed behind her as she ran off, making her look like a ghost. Right now she was confused, scared, and probably still in pain.
I yelled her name but she didn't stop, I figured she wouldn't anyway. She ran in the direction of the woods. The woods were dangerous place to be.
My feet moved unconsciously, I have to help her. She's going to get hurt. As I stepped out of the old school building a hand grabbing my shoulder.
"Andrew leave her be, she's scared and confused, she needs some time alone." it was my friend Nick.
I turned to look at him. "But what if I did this to her? This isn't normal for pure breds to grow wings, we're born with them. "
He shook his head, "that's exactly why I don't want you to go... " he said. I shook my head and stared at the tall evergreen I saw Zaharia run into.
I had always thought she was cute and I've only now had the nerve to talk to her. I have ruined everything.
"And that's exactly why Im going." with that I turned and ran to the woods.
