Before the Ending

Captain Cricket Bannanabumper and Captain Lily Cheesysticks had just reached the fifth floor of a cog building. Captain had just unlocked a squirt gun, which he was very proud about. They were fighting two big cheeses. Captain reached for his squirt gun, when suddenly, he and Lily fell straight through the floors of the cog building, into an underground place.

"What is this place?" asked Lily

"No clue," said Captain

He then saw an abandoned roller coaster, with a scratched up sign that said

"Toon Coaster! 10 jellybeans a ride!" With a cartoon of two toons on the coaster. He looked all around, then realized something.

"Lily!" exclaimed Captain, "this must be a bonus level they never finished making or something. It looks really cool!"

Lily ran he hand along the smooth coaster and sniffed the abandoned air.

"Looks spooky down here," she said with a shrill in her voice.

"I think it's cool!" said Captain with a smile.

"I remember this place now! This was a part of Toontown until the cogs took over! I remember my mom taking me here for my birthday!" said Lily as she was filled with excitement.

"So what happened to it?" asked Captain

"When the cogs took over they destroyed it. I was so sad."

"That is pretty sad." said Captain as cogs fell down into the abandoned theme park. It seemed like there were 500 of them.

"Grab on to this" they heard a voice say as a rope came down. Captain and Lily grabbed onto the rope and got lifted into a helicopter, where Flippy was.

"Why were you two down there? That place houses hundreds of cogs!" said Flippy

"We fell through the floor when we were in a building," explained Lily.

"Why'd they destroy it anyway?" asked Captain

"I have no clue," said Flippy.

"A lot of weird things have been happening lately. Is something changing?" asked Lily.

"Well..." said Flippy as he started to cry.

"What?" asked Captain in concern.

"I can't say just yet. Toon council will announce it at 4 o'clock" said Flippy.

The helicopter dropped Captain and Lily off at Toontown central, where there were loads of people.

"What was that about?" asked Captain

"I have no clue," said Lily.

It was 4:00 now, and everytoon was in Toontown central. They were packed so tight in that Captain could almost feel the color of the orange dog next to him.

"Attention Toons! We have a big announcement to make!"

Captain was wondering what the announcement could be.

"Toontown will be closing on September 19. All toons can enjoy unlimited access until then. Thanks for playing!"

Captain looked over to Lily as her smile turned into a frown. Captain could feel his heart melting.

"Why?"
