a rising sun from in a beach rose was alone with a child at the temple with a baby book given to her by vidalia.

it was here rose felt a great lost and pearl was no help in fact she made it worst pearl was alway obsess with rose from the beginning they never had a relation at all not like rose had with Greg.

rose had to be strong for her son she need to support her child to help him grow to have a future with the life he had been given. 

rose had given gain the equipment to raise a child as well as knowledge of young ones they need to be nurture and care for.

rose was warming up milk for Steven with a microwave power by her magic the things from greg storage till it was done.

a beam flash up from a pad warping in was pearl amethyst and garnet return from a mission. "rose we completed the assignment just you say."

pearl said to her. "thank you now can you show do you remember what i told you of the mirror." rose asked.

"yes rose i remember." pearl answered with a week smile expression. "what did you remember i say to you?"

"you said to-to uugh." and like that rose was disappointed in pearl but what did she expect from her, she pearl practically not listen when rose mention greg.

rose put her beloved Steven in a baby pouch that strap to her body with both Steven pajamas and the pouch with holes for the gems. "well since you did not listen give me the mirror." rose told pearl as a order.

pearl did not questioned it she out of everyone offended rose she only make it worse to comfurt her she was basically insane at one point pearl hurted rose feeling with the words good ridence to greg never realizing what love truly is.

pearl summoned a mirror with a blue gem from her pocket dimension that's in her gem and gave it to rose. 

"i be out for a while with steven." rose said. "do you guys wanna say anything or something." amethyst asked. "yes i do pearl you need to know how to listen stop being obsessive over me and let it go i always thought of you as a sister not a lover."

with rose words pearl actually realize the a chance of redemption and what are her true feelings are. "i sorry rose." 

"i know." rose responded to pearls apology and with that she walk to a far distance til she cant be sighted by her gem family. 

at the close edge to the ocean water rose then starts removing the gem from thew back of the mirror as  a circle form beneath her feet made of water.

it was then once remove the gem toke form as the mirror  shattered, the blue gem to a physical form of blue humanoid.

"you,, free me rose of the crystal gem." the blue gem responded. "your injured let me heal you wound sorry about pearl and the other gems they didn't listen to me nor had my permission." rose said.

"so they held me behind your back." the blue gem said. "out of concerns" rose then shed a tear on to her finger then wipe it on the blue gem back. 

"i guess now this is go- "rose?" it was pearl again from the back with garnet and amethyst.

"yo- "this is what i meant for not listening pearl you all should be ashamed of yourself she was imprison by home world then to you out of assumption she through the war all those years ago innocent got mix in our crossfire with us not know whose side they really are she is one of many innocents"

rose words made them realize it all, the war was with two blind side slaughtering innocents in the cross fire and only rose realize the guilt until now.

"lapis i-i sorry we're sorry you may take you leave now." rose said seeing the same guilt eyse in her fellow crystal gems.

lapis toke to the air for a moment but notice the child steven. "what that in strap to you rose." lapis asked. "its human gem offspring steven."

with that a new member was added lapis felt off with the child when steven smile she couldn't help but return it back.

steven was indeed an extraordinary but through the a few months latter it became winter for rose was taking care or the house of vidalia when they were on a trip for the holiday. she turn on the heater as she optain a few grocery she gain quite a liking to eating and tasting flavors.

a ring on the doorbell came from the front while rose finish feeding steven with warm milk on the couch with the heater on. 

she puts Steven down  on the couch and head for the front door she opened it revealing the crystal gems.

"hello rose" garnet said. "garnet amethyst pearl." rose responded. "and lapis." lapis said as she appeared.

"back from your travel lapis?" rose asked. "check it out we brought gift for steven." amethyst said. they all are with gift.

"well thats wonderful come on in." rose allowing them in. "can i get you guys anything water i can make you sandwich for you."

"well since we're here i like to have tea please." pearl said. "okay garnet amethyst lapis you want anything?"

"no not really." garnet it said as she sat down with steven and amethyst at the couch. "here you go steven." garnet handed the box to him.

"you have to unwrap it for him." rose told the fusion. "it just a box to make it look like it wrap up." then garnet open the box as she said tada. "whoa." rose responded as she took away the shaver "i don't think he need this." rose told him.

"let me guise you all got present that he is too young like adult diapers dictionaries" Rose asked. 

they put a weak smile all accept for lapis. "well luckily i came prepare" she then open her boxes for steven. it was baby diaper baby clothing and kids speaking books for pre kinder.

"well guess we're beat." "the present are great gems but some he too young for three of them. now in days he is into thing like these keys" rose then begin to shake the keys infront of steven as he giggle in joys.

"whoa he love them."  amethyst said as rose gave the keys to amethyst it was then from shaking the keys steven gems started to glow. all was surprise to see this actually happen. "whats happening?" 

"its his gem traits." Lapis answered "gem traits?!"rose stuttered "his a hybrid rose , not a fully human you probably have to teach him of his gem traits one of this days." lapis told everyone.

"it was an eventually rose but he need all of us to to teach him one of these days were his family." lapis told everyone.

rose accepted the truth that she cant even give his own son a normal life but his future is still unknown to him hopefully it be bright.
