"What are you doing here, Taehyung?"

"He's the Grandpa of my childhood friend, Elyx. The one I made promise to." He said, wiping the tears on my cheeks.

I widened eyes. No way. It's me all along? But why can't I remember?

"We finally meet again..Squirtle."

elyx;

Squirtle?!?

"WHAT KIND OF NICKNAME IS THAT?!?" I yelled.

He chuckled.

"Silly, I called you Squirtle when we were kids." He said, patting my head.

I gave him my confused look.

His expression changed.

"You don't remember?" He said with a sad tone.

"I-I'm s-sorry.. I don't really remember."

"Stop joking around." He said with an uneasy tone.

"I'm serious." I said with a serious face.

"But Grandpa only has one and faithful grandaughter! and that's you! Elyx! It's you! Why can't you remember?!?" He shouted in worry, gripping on my shoulders.

"T-Taehyung!" I shouted, getting out of his grip.

He let go and widened his eyes.

"I already told you the truth! So please stop! You are making a scene here. Grandpa won't like this." I continued.

He immediately looked around and saw many people glancing over them and others whispering to each other, like gossiping about them.

He bowed down to apologize.

"I apologize for my bad behavior. Please excuse me." He said, exiting the room.

After he left, the people's attention is around me.

I feel scared and embarrassed.

Their whispers filled around the room. Their stares are killing me.

I-I'm s-sorry..

I kneeled down while my hands are on my ears. I looked down while my tears are falling.

I-I'm s-so w-weak..

Their whispers became louder. I can still feel their death stares.

P-Please s-someone s-save me..

"Everyone move to the- Oh my Elyx!" I heard Mom, she's coming towards me. I quickly wipe my tears away.

"What happened, sweetie?" She said, helping me stand up.

I weakly stood up while my mom supporting my body.

"You need to take a rest." Mom said, helping me walk outside.

We exited the room and sat on one of the chairs outside the room.

"Can you still walk?" Mom asked.

I shook my head.

She sighed.

"Joy left, her mother called and it's an emergency. She said she was sorry she couldn't stay longer."
