January 5th
Dear Diary,
My father said that he will be gone away on a business trip. He has been noticed by the general and he might become our most valued customer. Father does make delicious food. A reason why Mother accepted his proposal.
Thinking of that just makes me wish for mine.
I heard the blacksmith's wife (a jeweler) asked a favor of Johnny. Maybe the favor returned will be my ring!
I spend my day thinking of the future, I will not cast a spell to know. I want it to be a suprise!
I love Johnny. If not for him this diary wouldn't be written for I wouldn't have learned how to write.
And if not for me, he probably wouldn't have made the apprenticeship. But who can say no to a man who sews!
Ah, I must get back to work.
