Long ago, in the high mountains, there lived a kingdom of perfect people. It was named Bergspitze (that's German for Mountain top). The king and queen were also perfect. Everything in this little mountain top kingdom was... perfect. Except for the night of birth if the princes and princess. The eldest was named Blake. He was like the super child. He was smart, strong, and handsome. The second was the only female. Her name was Alexandera. She was rumored to be the most beautiful, even more so than Corinitha, the goddess of beauty in their land. And the last born was named Chase. He was like an assassin. He was always quiet and he kept a close eye on eveything.
They seemed just like normal children, but little did the king and queen know, they were playing with fire... the children were shifters. And they were dragon shifters. Those kinds were the most powerful ever known. All shifters were seen as imperfections of the gods that they worshiped, so they got exiled from Bergspitze. But it would be hard to exile the heirs to the throne.
The king and queen would never give up their children. Unless it was to keep them alive. Even then they would keep them in the castle until it was too dangerous for them to stay. Of course, there were no rebels in the walls of Bergspitze, so they were safe. Or so they thought.
They had no idea that there were so many enemies right in front of them in the throne room and in their army. And even some of their civilians. The head master of this rebellion was somewhere in the throne room with them. And they didn't even know it.
The name of the rebel leader was Conner. He was the same age as the children. Growing up, he was a friend to all of the heirs. But there was a fight between them and that broke their friendship forever. I should know. I am the eldest son. I am Blake.
