A/N: Short ass chapter, but I felt like this should be its own chapter. Here's a glimpse into the life of Jerstie! Today I'll probably double update just because it's so short... ENJOY!

I leaned carefully over the bathroom sink, gazing at my reflection in the mirror. Attempting to fasten the backing of my pearl earring, I couldn't help but smile. The anticipation was building up inside for our engagement party tonight. I loved a good party. All of our close friends, family, and my mom would be flying into town. I couldn't wait.
I smoothed down the creases in my short cream colored dress and let out a pleased sigh. Jeremy stood next to me, hunched over his sink brushing his teeth. I looked on thoughtfully at our reflections in the mirror. Marriage
We'd be doing this for the rest of our lives... Okay I know this particular scenario isn't so glamorous but truly, when you're in love, it's really quite romantic-
"Hey!" Jeremy said, snapping his fingers in front of my face.
"Huh? What?"
"You good?" He asked, raising an eyebrow
"Oh sorry," I chuckled sheepishly, "Yea I'm good."
"You know the engagement party is tonight, right?" He asked. Uh... duh? We're on our way there now... "Don't do that weird day-dreaming thing you do." He said flicking the light switch off, leaving me in the dark.
"Hey!" I followed, "I've got alot on my mind latley..."
"You've got alot on your mind?" He snorted, "Oh please, I've practically planned this whole wedding by myself while you've been off globe-trotting..."
"You act like I'm not out earning our income..." I scoffed, "Paying this mortgage..."
He stopped walking, giving me side-eye while buttoning up his blazer. He waiting silently, obviously expecting some type of apology.
"I was kidding, okay?" I surrendered, "Sorry."
He sauntered over and placed a kiss on my forehead with a pleased grin.
"Ready to party?" He perked up, grabbing the keys.
Planning a wedding was a stressful task that challenges even the strongest of relationships. Jeremy could be testy, I wouldn't deny that. But I wanted us to have a good time tonight, so I'll be the one to grin and bear it.
