HellBound

Chapter Two- Awakening

I wake up with a gasp as I look around to find myself in a hospital bed, my body hooked up to machinery and IVs. I sigh as I look around to see flowers and gifts on the bedside table to 'get well soon' cards and such as I lay my head back down to face the TV in the corner of the room as the news was on playing the story f the crash causing my eyes to widen as I look for my cross chain and put it near my chest as my mind races to think if it was real or not. As I lay there I don't notice the hospital door open and my church's head priest walking in and sitting in the seat near my hospital bed he wore a usual priest outfit with the collar and a cross around his neck. He had blonde hair and green eyes with a face full of freckles.
I soon notice the head priest and look at him and smile
"Hello father, what are you doing here?" I ask him ad he looks down at me from his seat
Father Smith smiles very lightly before replying with "I've heard what happened last night and I wanted to show you how the lord has spared your and allowed you to live"he says an I frown sighing and look up at Father Smith
"I don't believe it was the lord, Father. I saw a demonic woman she had ram horns, demonic eyes and-" I was cut off by Father Smith

"Do not worry the lord is just testing your strength in your faith, as long as you stay faithful he will protect you." I watch as Father Smith gets up and leaves the room closing the door and I lay in the hospital bed for what seemed to feel like hours of just staring at the TV before I heard a knock on the door causing me to jump slightly and look at the door as it opens to see my wife who looked worried sick but her facial expression quickly changed as she saw me alive and awake, she quickly walks into the room hugging me lightly
"Oh Andrew I was so worried! When the police called me telling me everything I...I thought I was gonna loose you hun" she says looking at me as she pulls away from her hug and I smile
"I'm sorry I worried you.Did the doctors say when I can leave?" I ask looking at her and she nods replying
"Yeah hun, they said you can leave tomorrow morning but you did confused the doctor how you were basically unharmed from the crash." she smiles and sits beside my bed
"I guess I'm just lucky huh?" I say chuckling and putting what I saw in the back of my mind not believing it was real.
