A knife was held against Maya's neck by someone Arjun couldn't see clearly..

The stranger's other hand that was not holding the knife was around Maya's waist in a possessive way as if to let him know that Maya was not Arjun's instead she belonged to the stranger's..

Rage boiled in him like it never did before..

She's Arjun's Maya..

Yet he couldn't voice aloud anything as the knife against Maya's neck was pressed even more as he could see the blood seeping out from her neck, staining her white dress..

The stranger then looked at him with a creepy smile that it sent shivers down his spine..

The stranger then said,

“If I can't have her no one can.."

Maya's throat was slit.....

Arjun woke up with a gasp and looked around frantically trying to calm his mind that it was only a dream...

His Maya was hurt..

God.....! Arjun looked at her sleeping beside him peacefully, curled into a ball like she usually slept in this position..

Her sleeping position distracted him from his nightmares..

This position screamed that it was her subconscious position trying to lessen the damage from any physical attack...

The main point was how much she was enduring in present because of her past..?

Arjun pulled her from the curled up position slowly and held her in his arms securely as if he wanted to hide her from the world..

Arjun was a normal person who grew up in a normal surroundings albeit with some troubles in his past and he could not say that he understood her position and past. He could not even imagine why would anyone abuse a child.

Why people were messed up in this world..?

Why would anyone want to hurt a child..?

Children were precious, right.? Why would anyone abuse them?

Arjun looked at the time to find it was noon and turned to look at her face again..

Arjun knew his heart had crossed all boundaries for her..

It's okay if it was just not a normal relationship...

It's okay if it was not forever....

It's okay if it was like the four months relationship they had....
