Eisoptrophobia

Theodosia hated mirrors. She couldn't explain the reason why she had that hatred of mirrors but, she just felt uncomfortable being near one. Other people thought it was just a irrational fear and that she was going to get over it sometime but, to her, it was more than just a "irrational fear." She saw it as an attack on her sanity. Around every corner, she could see a mirror, showing the monster inside of her. It's pitch black eyes with blood of the same color streaming down its face and coming out from their mouth, its tattered and blood stained clothes, the cuts and bruises all over it etc. One day, Theo decided she had enough. She broke all of the mirrors in her home, leaving her fists bloodied up and with cuts all over them. She then huddled in the corner of her room and started to cry in pain. In the middle of her crying, she saw something that enraged her. "Nonononono... NO!! I BROKE ALL THE MIRRORS!! WHY CAN I STILL SEE YOU!?!?!?" She screamed at the figure. The figure laughed and started towards her. "STAY BACK!!" She screamed, still pointing the glass shard at them "IM WARNING YOU!!" When the creature got close enough, Theo pounced on it and drove the shard into the figure's chest repeatedly, tears flooding her eyes in the process. After a while, she stopped and tried catching her breath. She felt the rush of adrenaline flow through her, even though she stopped. Her head started to hurt and she could barely breathe. She looked at the body and saw that it wasn't the monster. She screamed and started to cry, which caught her roommate's attention. They came to her side and tried to console her...
