Let's Meet In The Future (BaekHera)

Chapter 3

[Baekhyun's POV]

It's been a couple of days since I met Hera and humiliate myself in front of her. I chose to stay home after what happened. I just don't know how to face her because of the embarrassment and it's not like we're close. I mean, we just met so I didn't really need to meet her.

It's 11pm, yet I can't sleep. Am I having an insomnia or what? If not nightmares, then insomnia. What is really happening to me?

I grabbed my coat and went outside. People from our neighborhood are probably sleeping at this hour already.

The cold air breeze that pass by my skin and the stillness of the outside helps me to keep calm and clears my mind. It gives me a sense of relief.

After walking for minutes, I got tired and felt like resting for a while before going back home. I  ended up in the children's playground so I sat on the swing and stared at the stars in the night sky.

"Baekhyun?"

I was a little startled that I almost fell from the swing.

"Oh my. Did I scare you? I'm sorry."

"No, no. It's okay. I was just a but surprised. By the way, what are you doing here in the middle of the night, Hera? It's not good for a woman to be outside in the middle of the night. Why aren't you sleeping yet?"

"I just can't sleep. Maybe because of the time difference? Anyway, I didn't saw you in the neighborhood for a couple of days. Have you been busy?"

"It's not like that. I-It's just that I was so embarrassed to face you. Honestly speaking, I don't know what came in to my mind back then. I didn't really intend to ask for a ramen."

This is so awkward, I don't even know what to say. Why are you being so honest all of a sudden Byun Baekhyun? 

But wait, she's laughing?

"Why are you laughing?"

"Because you're funny. To be honest I was surprised of what you said last time since it's our first time meeting, like really? Asking me if I have a ramen?  But, thinking about it, it's like you just want to continue the conversation. Haha. I like it though. I find it cute."

Cute? Which part was hella cute? It was embarrassing. 

"Would you mind if we become friends?"

"What?"

"Let's be friends, Baekhyun."
