He ran, blood splattered across his shirt and hands. The darkness of the night was calming, but not enough to fufill Calvin's blood lust. He ran rabidly up and down the street contemplating his next victim. "That son-of-a-bitch is dead!" he screamed over and over again. His voice became hoarse but he still managed faint squeals of joy and excitement. It was all interrupted though, when he saw Emily White walking down the street. She was the "it" girl, every boy in the 12th grade wanted her. In 10th grade he asked her out and she shot him down. It was ok, he didn't mind much. But now, he was so angry and so fired up that anything could have set him off. He crept behind a bush as she walked by. He suddenly sprung out and whipped back her hair making her yelp out in pain. Pinning her arms behind her back he pushed her up against the nearest house. "Hello bitch," he said breathing on her neck. "Calvin? What are you doing?" Still against the wall he rubbed his talons slowly over her neck leaving small scratches. With his other hand he dug his talons deep into her ribs. She sobbed and moaned but he quickly covered her mouth. "Shhh, there's something you need to know about me," he moved a piece of hair from her neck, "I'm not Calvin, I'm Talon Jax." He swiftly bit into her neck and drank. Blood dripped from her neck and his mouth when he was done. He let go of her body and she fell to the ground. He knelt down and kissed her forehead. A tear fell from his eye. He looked at her pretty face and with his talons he reached out and grasped her eye. He reached into the socket and severed the optic nerve. He ripped it up and delicately placed it in his own socket. He brushed his hair over that side of his face. Taking a deep breath he felt the warmth of the blood nourishing his body, and just as he was about to take another bite a cop car drove by. Before he could be seen he dashed into the next house, leaving behind Emily's lifeless body. No one was home which, despite the oncoming cop car, was a bummer to Calvin. Quickly he washed his face and hands hand threw on something to wear, leaving off the light. Through the window he could hear a car pull up and more sirens. Even more to his suprise the people who live in the house had come home. From what Calvin heard it sounded as if a very grief stricken woman was crying. He was silent. He heard other voices. A man and maybe a teenage girl. She was screaming. Not a painful scream or a scared scream, but a shocked scream. That's when he heard the front door slam. Sobs from a young girl were moving up the stairs and seemed to be coming to the bathroom. He quickly jumped into the bathtub and closed the curtain. The girl came in and ran the sink. "My sister," she kept yelling, "My sister!" Calvin's heart was beating so fast in his chest that if it were silent she would be able to hear it. He held his breath. It was only now that he had come to terms with what he had done. I took someones family away. I hurt them. Now they will have to feel the same pain I felt over my mother. No one should have to feel this pain. He began to cry. He tried to hold it in but he couldn't. The girl turned off the water and slowly turned around. Slowly she opened the shower curtain to find Calvin whimpering in the corner of the bathtub. He didn't even notice her at first. She put a hand on his shoulder. "Hello, is something wrong?" He turned his head and looked at her, not saying a word. "What's your name?"
"My name. My name is Calvin James. Why are you crying?" She pushed a piece of her long red hair away from her face. It went splendidly with her freckles and light green eyes. She was wearing violet leggings, a grey tee-shirt, a grey hoodie, and converse with a tad of mascara. Her smile was perfectand her voice was soft. She was lovely in an unspoken kind of way. "For now, let's talk about you. First what were you doing in my bathtub and second, why are you crying?" He sighed. "I don't really know why I'm in your bathtub. Life is funny like that. And I'm sorry to say but, I'm going mad."
"Why is that?" She questioned innocently. Calvin looked away and reached for the eye and with the other hand brushed the hair over the hole. "Because I killed your sister." With that he handed her the eye as she stood there in shock. She screamed out for her parent and he tried to cover her mouth but it was too late.
