After breaking free from the orphanage home they grew up, they struggled to survive running down the dark street of Vancouver.

At first, twenty years old Natasha Wayne never thought they would make it alive passing through the midst of darkness, and as for her second friend, she ran like she knew where she was running to.

Evelyn Hart probably didn't know where she was heading, but she ran to get away from the place that refused to show them the world, a place that was so tight with rules, and that place was the orphanage home she grew up.

As far as she could remember, when she was four, her mother had brought her to this place, but not only that, she wasn't the only one who was admitted on that day, Tasha too was, back then she was so little and she cried sheeplessly that she didn't want to stay. This time,it was the father giving her away.

From there they became friends, neither of them like the placed so they found it hard to cope, cope around the with other orphans who felt the place was home. But as for Evelyn and Natasha, they called what was thought of to be home, "hell"

Because of that, Natasha found her name to be annoying, so she deleted the first letter and made everyone stick to the idea of calling her just Tasha.

So this was the very day she decided to carry out her plans with Evelyn, so they broke free and now running to find a place.

It got to a point Tasha found her legs aching that they stopped running. She tiredly sat on the floor, she didn't mind, it was neat as usual.

Evelyn too felt tired, but she couldn't sit like her friend "get up Tasha, let's go"

Tasha looks up at her breathing heavily. "Go? Go where?"

"Anywhere..." She looked around and hugged herself "it's really cold out here, you know how it is here in Canada right?"

Tasha rolled her eyes. "Take a nap would you?"

"I'm not taking no nap." Evelyn grabbed her arm and pulled her up from the floor. "Let's go."

"Alright fine." Tasha said with tiredness "but I'm running no more."

"Fine then, we'll walk."

So they walked. They walked down streets after streets, turning into different corners, going down different alleys, crossing the road, walking down the pavement of closed shops and malls, until it creeps them out.

"Where're we going anyways?" Tasha asks.

"Anywhere." Evelyn replies.

"Anywhere is nowhere." Tasha snapped again.

But she didn't get to Evelyn, so they kept walking, Evelyn was the one leading the way....as far as Tasha thought. So they went corners and corners and streets until finally turning into another corner that was so noisy, Evelyn bumps into a wall.

Maybe human.

Or a wall.

She almost fell until the wall developed hands and held her around the waist to prevent her from making contact with the ground.

She quickly pulled away.

"Sorry." She said quickly. The street was dark and she couldn't see who was standing there.

"Let's go." As she started to leave with Tasha, the arm grabbed Tasha back. Now, Tasha could see his face cause he was standing under a ray of thin light flashing out of the shop they stood nearby.

Tasha was lost, the wall thought man was handsome....and ......hot...until, Evelyn grabbed her arm and spun her around.

"Let's go." Without thinking twice, they started walking down a dark path again until they heard loud footsteps behind, Evelyn and Tasha looked back and found out the man was after them.
