With that I turn around and start to walk away. But then I stop, and say, "you promised me".
And then I walk away for good.

Chris's POV:
I get a text back from Sofia it says"yeah I will be there in a few xoxo😘💕💕💙💙" .
I was so happy for her to be back, I haven't seen her in such a long time. Since she goes to a college all the way in Nashville, Tennessee, we would text everyday and call each other as well...
But, Come on we have known each other since I was 6 and she was 5. We have known each other for 15 years!! One can only go so long without seeing their best friend.
She called me before leaving Nashville, saying that she was going to stop by the library first, before seeing her parents.
I know that she wanted to see her parents but I told her that after going to the library if she could come over. She hesitated a bit but after I begged and begged she agreed.
I was just going to buy some munchies and buy a movie so we could watch it. But then I changed my mind.
I invited her parents to come over around 1 o'clock. Right now it is 12:30 Sofia will be here around 1:10 if there is no traffic, which I doubt it.
So I have around 40 minutes to get the house ready.
I wanted to do a welcome home party for her. I mean she does deserve it. She has been through a lot the past 3 years.
I bought a welcome home banner where it says "welcome home" and each letter has its own triangle and all the triangles are connected by a string.
I also bought fake flowers, napkins, forks, spoons, and plastic knives and Oreos.
I made cookies and cream and lemon cupcakes.
I also bought cute little chalkboards. Where I wrote "Menu" and I wrote, all the things that you could eat.
I made s'mores and put them in a jar. I also put the Oreos in a jar.
I put everything in my kitchen. I think she will love it, but she might get mad because I spent so much money on her.
She doesn't mind spending money on me but she doesn't like me spending money on her.

Exactly at 12:55pm I had finished putting everything up and cleaning up.
Exactly at 1pm the door bell rang.
Dang, I thought no matter how many times her parents actually get here in time it will always surprise me.
All of her family came in the living room. Her dad first then her 3 brothers and then her mom.
Then Maxi comes running to me and hugs me. "Chris, I have missed you so much" "Same here same here kid" I say.
Then Sofia's other brother, Chris, comes up to me "I missed you too" "I missed you as well Chris" I say.
