The Marauders

Hey I hope you like my book! It will be set in the marauders 5th year.

I do not own any of the characters in this story exept Victoria and a few made up people. The Charicters, setting and back story all belong to J.k.Rowling.

I dragged my trunk down the narrow train and stopped to look in the very last compartment. There sat a boy. But not just any boy. Remus John Lupin. He lived in a small cottage with his parents in the same woods as I did.I had always had a tiny crush on Remus. I remember before my first year I had been walking in the woods searching for my cat when I saw him by the stream. He was reading a large leather bound book and I found it strangly fasinating. I sat on a high tree branch and watched at him til the sun went down and it got dark.  I soon discovered that Remus was in my year and the same house at school as me. I had never spoken to him though from the fear of rejection.

I took a deep breath and slid open the the door. He looked up from a small handbook and smiled faintly.

"Can I sit here. If no one else is of corse!"  I said rather quickly.

"Yes yes of corse." he mumbled.

I sat accross him and pulled out my potions text book. I was halfway through 'Uses of Lacewing fly' when he finaly placed down his book and spoke to me.

"So whats your name then?" He almost wispered.

"Victoria. Victoria Opalwood." I replied my tone even quieter.

"Well im-"

"Remus Lupin. Yes I know."

He grinned at my knowlage of him.

I looked up and my eyes locked with his. They were a very deep shade if silver that reminded me if the full moon...  

Just as I had looked away the compartment door slid open again and three boys came bouncing in laughing and yelling.

"MOONY!"

I reconised the boys strait away. James Potter , Sirius Black and Peter Petigrew. They were the strangest and loudest boys(bar Peter) I ever knew.

They all dramatically fell on the seats and I soon felt out of place.

"Whos your girl friend Moony?" said james, tugging on Remus ' sleeve.

"One," snapped Remus, "This is not my girl friend. This is my friend Victoria. "

My heart leaped at the word friend.

"And two, did you know Lilly Evens and Snape are dating?"

James' face looked like death.

"Calm Prongs, I was kidding." Remus laughed whilst clutching his side.

I silently got out my book again to distract my self from thier hilarious but mysterious plans...

   I had read, re-read and attempted to trainslait the whole book into Mermish when we finally arrived at Hogwarts. Somehow I had only been dragged into a convosation twice. Once when they wanted to know whether lacewing flys or Billywig stings would be better for a blindness poition and the second time I was asked if I wanted a pumkin pastie , since Sirius had thrown up after his Bertie bots every flavour beans.

I smiled at Remus trying to silently thank him and pulled my trunk in to the platform. I hadnt seen any sighn of  Jessica Finnigan or Josaphine Lockheart , my two best friends. I searched over the many heads of the students but saw no one I reconised.

"Ah look Cissy!" A cruel sharp voice sang behind me. "Its our little friend Victoria!"

I grasped my wand from iside my robes to keep myself protected. I felt like iwas going to need it.

Hi I hope that wasnt too bad. I will carry on with the story once I have the time.
