I turned to Dani who was walking right behind me. She held onto Felix's hand tightly as she took a few deep breaths. I had told them what Sam told me and Felix had to physically pin Dani to the couch to stop her from hunting Sam down. At first I thought it was funny but I was actually happy that Felix did what he did. Dani was my bestfriend for a reason, she had my back to the end and back just like I had her back, but fighting would solve nothing. That may have worked out well at my moms funeral but on campus it wouldn't, the only thing that would happen would be that Dani would get kicked out and the last thing I need is her in my position. I sped my pace up a little as the main building came into view of me. I had to get to the Dean before he spoke to Mark, if I could do anything to help Mark keep his job I would. As we approached the building Felix grabbed my shoulder, pulling me to a stop. I stopped walking and turned to look at him. He looked at me a little concerned before speaking.

"Are you sure you want to go in there Y/N?" I looked up at him and gently moved his hand from my shoulder "At some point I've got to take responsibility for the whole Mark and I situation. I might as well get it over with". Dani stepped forward a little and spoke out "What evidence does she even have? For all the Dean knows she could be lying"-- "Dani I don't know if you remember but we have campus cameras. I know a lot of them have to have video of me staying with Mark during lunch and staying long periods of time after class. Plus they had to have caught me getting in and out of his car" I spoke out slightly chuckling. Felix slowly nodded as Dani stayed silent realizing that I was right. I lightly hugged her and patted Felix's shoulder "Everything's going to be fine" I spoke out softly before turning. I took a deep breath as I made my way into the building. My mind went blank as I opened the door to the building. I didn't know what I was going to say when I got into the Deans office but I knew that it had to be something good enough to make him believe whatever bullshit was gonna pull out of my ass. I looked at all of the doors as I made my way down the hall and into the main office.

Everything was still and silent. Nobody roamed the hall and the world seemed peaceful for once. Even as I stepped foot into the front receptionist office, everything was peaceful. My peacefulness soon came to an end as I heard my name being called. My face turned and located the source of the voice, it was Tanya the secretary. I was greeted with a warm smile as I approached her "Hey Tanya, how are you?" I spoke out happily. She gave me a soft smile as she spoke back "Hello Y/N, I'm doing good. On the account that I was actually supposed to call for you I'm guessing you're not doing to well" She lowly chuckled. I smiled at her and lightly groaned "You don't know the half of it" I lowly spoke out. She smiled at me before pointing to the Dean's door "Well you might as well go in there and get it over with"-- "Might as well" I spoke out before walking to the door.

I approached the door and laid 3 hard knocks on the door. It was silent for a few seconds before I heard him speak "Come in". I took one last deep breath as I opened the door. He narrowed his eyes on me as I walked in and closed the door behind me. I could already feel the tension in the air, I knew I was in for something bad. He didn't say anything to me as he pointed to the chair that sat in front of his desk. I took the hint and walked over to it, taking a seat and looking at him from across the desk. He just stared at me which caused me to look away out of guilt. Come on Y/N this is for Mark, you got this. I took in a breath before speaking "Good evening Mr. Dane, I think we both know why I am here right now"-- "Please just be quiet Ms. (Y/L/N)" He cut me off as he waved his hand dismissively. I looked at him and immediately shut my mouth, I didn't need to cause us any more trouble by angering him. He tapped his pen on his desk and let out a deep sigh "Ms. (Y/L/N) in all three years of you living on this campus and attending this school I have only had one encounter with you, and that was for an award ceremony. You have always been a great student and I have only ever heard positive remarks about you from the staff.... That is why I was finding the story that Ms. Reynolds told me very unbelievable... Until Mr. Fishbach came into my office earlier today, and I just want to let you know that he has been fired and will be removed from this campus as soon as his classroom is cleaned out. I called you here to ask you if you were okay?" He looked at me with concerned eyes.
