As I finally get my room how I want I jump onto my bed and fall asleep.
BUZZ BUZZ.
"JAYLEN! GET UP IT IS YOUR FIRST DAY AT YOUR NEW SCHOOL!" my mom screams from the kitchen.
I jump out of bed and throw on two completely different outfit, I run to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I check the time 7:00, I have 5 minutes to catch the bus. Knowing I don't have time I forget brushing my hair and run down stairs. Grabbing a bagel off the counter.
"bye mom" I say stuffing the bagel into my mouth forcing it in.
I stand there for a good 10 minutes waiting for the bus, until i notice it had already left me. I jolt down the street, left! Right! Another right! Oh fuck that was supposed to be a left turn! i finally make it to the school, i have 8 minutes to get to my locker. As I'm running i feel the air get knocked out of me falling backwards onto my butt. I shake it off as i stand. i see another guy rubbing his head on the floor. "IM SO SORRY!" i say helping him up. "eh, its fine i was gonna be late anyway." he says giggling.
"I'm matt, and you are?"
"J-Jaylen.." i say studdering
His hand reaches out and i shake his hand. "nice to meet you Jaylen!" he say letting go of my hand.
"nice to meet you to matt." i say smiling.
he looks at my schedule. "your late for class, and u have the most strict teacher, I have an idea!" i look at him wondering what his idea is. "lets skip class!" he says smirking. And i gladly agree.
"wait I gotta get someone" he says winking.
"umm, okay"
"wait here!" as he runs off.
I hide behind the boys bathroom wall, as I wait for matt.
About 15 minutes later I see him jumping around the hallway, he brought a girl with him, she walks up to me and punches me in my left arm.
"ayo! I'm Nena."
I rub my arm as I say hello back.
"so, we're are we going Matt?"
"um, well, I don't know yet."
She rolls her eyes and walks out the door.
Matt grabs my hand as we run out the door trying to catch up to Nena.
We finally slow down to get a breath.
"so what now?" matts says catching his breath.
"hmm, the park?" Nena suggested. "pfft, the park is lame."
"well fine then." Nena says rubbing her chin.
"I got it!"
Matt grabs Nena and my hand and starts to run faster.
"S-SLOW DOWN MATT!" Nena screams as we run down the street.
