SECRETS

I stared at them both in utter shock and horror. My mouth was open and my eyes were slowly filling with tears. Everything before me was a blur and when I couldn't hold the tears any longer I let them fall and slide down my face.

"I'm so sorry Debbie." Gabs the woman I thought was my mother for the past 16 years whispered. She tried to brush the tear away from my cheek but I slapped her hand.

"Don't touch me! Yep just told her she's adopted and why not casually wipe her tears.You've lied to me all these years and you think everything is gonna be okay? REALITY CHECK IT'S NOT.I HATE YOU." I shouted ( a/n obviously. Who wouldn't)

"Debbie! Don't be so rude to your mother!"Mike my "Dad" said

" In case you haven't noticed she's not my mum, you're not my dad, I hate you both, AND I'm never speaking to any of you ever again so long as I live." (a/n Slightly childish I know . O Well)I said in between my sobs. Then I ran out of the house, slammed the door and ran down the road to a place I knew I will be welcome.

If people are reading that was kind of the prologue so you know some of the story. Also count it as the first chapter. Yes I'm not the best writer but I'm doing it so who cares? Haters gon hate. Chapter 2

When I got to the field sat in the middle of it and there was no one around apart from the horses just trotting around. I felt dizzy and well... you know that feeling where you could cry and shout at the same time? yeah, well that's how I felt and you know I was so pissed off at the world I decided to do just that.

I ran like a maniac phsyco freak up to the end of the field not wanting to disturb the horses,the only thing I wasn't annoyed at right now, threw my hands in the air and screamed at the sky, I HATE YOU WORLD and just stayed there like that for five seconds until I heard

"WTF?" from a familiar voice behind me.

"Oh um hey Trix." i said to my best friend Trixie trying my best to act casual.

"What the hell did I just witness?" She said in her cute American accent that I am so jealous of.

"Nothing." I replied my back turned.

"Gurl( a/n yeah Trixie is like that. trust it ain't no spelling mistake) you better turn your ayse (ass) around and tell me what's up."

The thing with Trixie is that she can see right through me and knows even better than I know myself, literally I had no clue I was adopted she probably had a gut feeling or something like that.

"Look" i started " I'm not in the best mood.I-I'm having some um... family issues." I know what your thinking she's your best friend why don't you tell her? But I could't really deal with Trixie's OTT attitude right now.

" So you found out huh?" She asked

" What do you mean by that ?"

"Well, I overheard your mu-

" SHE'S NOT MY MUM!"

"Okay keep your head on. I overheard Gaabbssss on the phone to my Mum, talking about how she couldn't bear to admit that she wasn't your mother but no matter what your her daughter and stuff like that. And I had this feeling." ( See what did I tell you.)

"Mu- Gabs said that?"

"Yup"

"I-

"Debz Gurl I know it hard to take in and I know it ya'll will shoot me for saying this but try to forget about every thing Cause those guys are a waste of breath and time.You hear me?"

"I've put my gun away Trix, though there's still a lot of anger in me. I realized that mum and dad do love me like a real daughter and I guess I love them as parents too ."

"Preach! Wow that was deep .I think you should say that to them not me.Forgive and forget."

"Thanks Trix I will."

"And if that doesn't cheer ya up. Think of all the guys we gon meet at summer camp." she said with a wink

"You've cheered me up already Trix! Thanks again for the advice bae. c you later"

And I ran back down the field, a weight lifted off my shoulders and believe it or not but I couldn't wait to get back home.
