Someone from the past

Ben's back? Why he's back? Why people from my past keep on coming back, when I dont really want them to? Anyways what he's doing here?!

'Ben? What are you doing here?' I see his ugly face, who is he? He was more one of my unsuccessful boyfriends.

'Shut up bitch!' he pushes me to the floor 'But I havent cheated on you!' I yell and run away from him, but he catches me.

'One day, I'll come back, and this scar on your cheek,' he uses his knife to scar my cheek, along my ear to my jaw line 'Will always remind you me, and when I will come back, you'll be mine.' He pushed me once again, and I fall on the floor, crying, Jordan runs to me the moment he sees me 'Who was he?' he asks me 'Someone.' I say between my tears 'I dont think we met. I'm Jordan Moore.'

That's the day he disappeared, and the day Jordan came back after a year in London. Since then I have nightmares about him, how mean can someone be? I guess that mean.

'How's your scar?' he smiles and turn my head to see the scar that almost disappeared 'I guess you missed me.' He comes to kiss me 'What do fuck you think you're doing?!' I yell and push him 'I'm not the little scared girl you met. and asshole, I've been through some things-' 'Like what?' he do a fake sad face 'Jordan left you for her?' he points at Mali.

'Don't you dare talk about him an idiot!' I push him 'Why?' he laughs 'Jordan! A little chicken! Come out!' he yells.

'He won't, it would be a bit hard to come down as a spirit, not that you know it.' 'He died! Now we can be together!' he gets closer once again 'Oh no! We won't! I have been with a few boys after you! Get over it!' he laughs even louder 'Who? This idiot?' he looks at Jacob 'Actually yes!' Jacob smiles and looks at me 'And with Nash, that left, but he will come back. I'm over the days you decided to ruin me, to look at me like you're better! I'm in better days then before, not that better, but what's called better in this cursed school?' I ask him.

'Honey, dont you understand? This is meant to be!' he smiles and gets his knife out, the same knife that did to me this scar years ago.

'How scared you are! You should've seen the look on your face, I just thought,' he gets closer 'That I should renew your scar.' He gets closer with it, he tries to reach my face but I kick his hand.

'One of the things that my ex taught me.' I smile 'You will get a new one, and this time, it'll hurt more, maybe this time it'll be down your hand?' he laughs easily.

But he just leaves into school.

'Who's this insane boy?' Tom runs to me. 'Another ex, from the crazy ex's I had.' 'Ouch.' Jacob says.

I walk straight to Mia; she mustnt accept him to school. 'Hey Skyler, we just talked about you!' Mia smiles and look at Ben, smiles his mean smile, as usual. 'Is everything alright? I heard what happened last night at Rose's meeting with you; I would like to talk to you about it.'

'I dont want to talk about anything! I am not insane, or crazy, or each other unbelievable thing you all say behind my back. Jordan is back.' 'Alright, can we talk other subject? And Ben,' she looks at him 'You can go sweetheart.' He nods, right before he leaves the room, he hold my hand and whisper 'One wrong word about me, and I will make sure to kill all of your idiot friends.' He says and goes.

'Well, what do you want to talk about Mia?' I ask her 'When I was in your age, even bigger, I learned here, it wasnt easy back then, I mean, we had our problems. Like you have Cassandra?' I nod 'I had Elisa, I can guess from who Cassandra learned to be mean. In my times, the fifth floor was dangerous; there was a bridge, which leads to a very bad place, to the tower.'

'Why was it dangerous?' I ask Mia, she take a deep breath and say 'Before years, this school was for unnatural kids. Witches, wizards, werewolf's, vampires, all kind of things. Some of them wanted power, more than they should have, so Marian, put them in this building, to stop them from killing the other students.' 'Why they killed them?' I ask.

'They wanted power, and killing the others was a way to get more.' She says 'After I visited the tower for the first time, I met her, Elisa, she was mean, just as her daughter became. I came back, with the one who was my best friend, Brandon-' I stop her 'What happened to him?'

'Wait darling, I will tell you everything. One day, she just ran, with some boy, James, no one found them. After a while we found out that they got married and that she's pregnant with a girl,' 'Cassandra.' I complete her sentence 'Right. They heard somehow the story of the stone, and they heard the prophesy, they thought that this is me and my brother, so they wanted me dead; I had to pretend that I'm dead for months. I couldnt tell anyone the truth. When I got back, I heard what happened while I was missing. Brandon got crazy, he said that he knows that I'm alive, he felt it. He became insane, so insane that they moved him to the tower, since then, he's there, I havent seen him since years ago.'

'Is he the one who broke your heart?' 'Kind of. I think that I broke his.' She smiles a sad smile.

'Can we go there? To the tower?' I ask 'Yes, I will take you tomorrow's night; we will have to do it fast.' Mia smiles. 'Thank you Mia, I feel much better.' I lie.

I walk right to the woods, to the lake, where everything happened. I need my time, alone.

I do in my head a list of everyone I lost those years: my mother, my father, Juliana, Marian, Brook, Jordan. Have I forgotten one? But how can I forget one? I remember everything like it was yesterday; those murders will always hunt me. Wherever I go.

I see the lake from far, and in my mind I see Jordan lying there, on the floor, around him blood, a lot of blood. And I see myself. Holding him in my hands, shocked, and then I see Nash shooting Cassandra, and running to me, the gun fall into water, and he hugs me. Like nothing also matter. I feel like I'm in this moment, living it all again. I walk closer to me, to Jordan, I see myself, crying a river of tears. Nash's hand closes his eyes.

'Hey, Sky are you okay?' Tom asks me 'Yes, only needed time.' I answer 'It's hard. Isnt it?' 'Of course it is. He's here, but not here.' I sigh 'When I lost my girlfriend, I thought that everything inside me dies. The whole world crashed, and I couldnt take it back. Each time I passed this road, I saw her lying on it, dead, and people, all around her. The only person, who wasnt there, was me. Sometimes I wish that I was there instead of her.' He says 'I dont. I mean, Tom, you chanced so many things in here, you chanced me. I would not survive here without you tomboy.' He smiles 'From the very first time I saw you at library I knew that you are very amazing person.' He hugs me 'I knew it too.' I say into his shoulder.

Then I hear voice in the woods 'Is someone there?' I ask 'Two birds. Dont you?' the voice laughs. 'Jordan?' I ask.
