Chapter 2: Blakes POV
I went out for a walk. When I was passing the Park I heard a girl scream. At first I wasn't going to go to see what was going on but she screamed again and I heard the fear in her voice. I was looking around for her for about 5 minutes until I saw a man standing over a girl who looked dead. He had a broken beer bottle in his hands.
When I saw that I froze but then I saw her hand jolt and I knew she was still alive. I ran up to the man and knocked him out. I picked her up in a bridal position and brought her to my parents guest house. After we were there I put her in the master bedroom. I sat her down in the bed and pulled the covers over her.
I went in to the next room and tried to go to sleep but I couldn't. All I could do was think about her. I wanted to find out what her name was I wanted to know everything about her. I just wanted to keep her safe and hold her in my arms. But I didn't know why. I mean I just meet her sort of I mean she doesn't even know.
Since I couldn't sleep I went to go get pain killers for her so when she woke up she could get ride of that pain where the man hit her in the head. I eventually decided to sit on the recliner in the bedroom that she was in. Around 3:00am I saw her moving around a bit so I tried to ask her if she was okay but she didn't even reply. So I waited a minute before I ask again, but when I did the same thing happened.
So I decided to turn on the lights. And when I did I saw that she was siting up and looking around and then her eyes were staring into mine. I saw panic but then it was all gone. I was absolutely frozen when I was looking into those emerald green eyes surrounded by her lightly tanned face, and golden brown hair. She was absolutely positively beautiful.
“Hey, are you alright?” I asked when it seemed that she had winced at the pain in her head.
“Who..Who are you?” She asked her voice so soft and sweet.
“My name is Blake.”
“Where am I?”
“Your in a place I call home. Are you okay?”
“Not really.”
“Here” I while I handed her some pills. After a moment when she hesitated I added. “There pain killers, over the counter.”
