"Zzzzzzz . . . ." Sherwin could easily hear the snoozing sounds from the little heart that was still im his pocket.

He knew someone could hear him but he can't blame the heart. Infact it's History Class, the most borig class in school. Not only because of the choice of the subject but because the subject teacher lectures the lesson in a dull and monotone voice that could make you easily sleep for a few minutes.

Sherwin couldn't help but to feel envy that the heart gets to sleep without getting caught. Lucky him. He glance up at the clock, the arrow ticking every second. It's almost break time. Sherwin couldn't help but fo feel happy for it while at the other side, he was sure he could bump into Jonathan.

"And as you see, they didn't do it. They just blah blah blah blah blah . . ." Sherwin can't help but to feel his eyelids getting heavier. Sleeping seems really inviting for Sherwin right now.

But that stopped when the door swung open, revealing the one and only Jonathan.

"Oh, Jonathan." The history teacher adjusted his glasses. "Why are you late for my class?" He asked, no emotion whatsoever.

"Sorry sir, I didn't notice the time." Jonathan chuckled before his eyes met Sherwin's hazel brown eyes.

Just one stare, he feel like being jolted right up. Literally. The heart manage to notice Jonathan's presence as it tries to escape from the pocket. Sherwin immediately block it and stood up.

"M-Mr - I uhh me-mean Sir," Sherwin called, not remembering what his teacher's name is. "I need to g-go to th-the restroom, ple-please?" He let out a nervous smile.

"Ok, Sherwin." The teacher mindlessly agreed.

He still covered the hole of his pocket and went over to pass through the history teacher but Jonathan gave Sherwin a genuine smile, leaving him all red and the heart aggressively trying to escape. So Sherwin has to leave immediately which made Jonathan a bit lonely at how sudden Sherwin left.

Not even a little 'hi' to him.

Jonathan slouch a bit and walked over to his sit - that was now next to Sherwin's - secretly wanted to see Sherwin.

"Grrrrr . . ." The heart growled, being in a small bird cage. Sherwin let out a tired sigh and lean over to a random chair. He was now in the school's science lab and manage to find an old bird cage so he could use it to deal the little heart.

"So-Sorry but it's for our own go-good." Sherwin said, wiping a sweat from his forehead.

" . . . . ppbbtt!" The stubborn heart spit near Sherwin's foot.

"Yeah, the tongue. I know." Sherwin rolled his eyes at it.

"RINNNGGGG!!"

Sherwin flinched at the sudden noise and realized it was break time. He sighed and hesitantly grab a random cloth. He faced at the caged heart.

"Sorry, I'll be right back." He said.

The heart looked down in a depressed way while being consumed in the shadows of the blanket that was covering the cage. Even Sherwin felt guilty in the inside but what else can he do? The heart is too stubborn that even just a blink, the heart could make some trouble instantly.

The doorknob twisted and open the science lab's door while Sherwin walk out of the lab. There are students flooding im the hallways, going to their respected lockers, some started to go to the cafetiria and othrrs usually hang-out with their friends. Sherwin was about to head over to his lockers until a certain latino greeted him.

"Hey Sherwin!" He spun around to see Jonathan waving at him.

The sight made his chest warm while his freckled cheeks started to blush. He let out a timid smile and waved back at Jon.

"H-Hi Jo-Jonathan." Sherwin greeted back, his legs started to feel a little bit jelly.

Jonathan feel really glad to see Sherwin and manage to talk with him properly. Just seeing him makes his day.

"Hey uhhh, Sherwin. I was wondering you . . . , you know," Jonathan blushed lightly while scratching his nape.

"You-You mean - " Before a full smile would appeared on Sherwin's lips, he suddenly heard some gossips and murmurs behind. And he had one thing to say . . .

He doesn't like it . . .

"Ugh, so he is gay."

"Isn't that weird?"

"Oh god, what a shame."

"Tsk, fags."

"Aren't they ashame of their sexuality?"

"He's suppose to like a real girl."

Each word, its like sharp knives piercing his back at every seconds. Even Jonathan seems to notice Sherwin's pained expression, watching him lowering his head.

Why can't he be normal? Infact he even got Jonathan into this hellish mess.

"Ugh, such a faggot."

Sherwin bit his lower lips. His fist shaking. Jonathan looked at him with sympathy and hold his shoulder.

"Hey, don't mind them." Jonathan mumbled.

"Ew, gross!"

"This is literally weird."

"Ugh, stop it."

No matter how warm is Jonathan's touch that was om his shoulder, Sherwin couldn't help but to hear the murmurs quite clearly. To be honest, even Sherwin himself wanted to be normal but his guilty pleasures take over him and now he was labeled as "fag", "gay", "ugly", and the list goes on.

Not only that, Jonathan's isn't for him after all.

"I . . ." Sherwin started, earning Jonathan's attention. "G-Gotta go." He said then immediately walked away.

His eyes are getting blurry and there's a few tears filling his eyes as he walked away fast. Leaving Jonathan alone with a hint of depression. Jon let out a sad sigh and shove his hands in his pockets but he couldn't help but to feel something in his pocket.

He pulled it out and realize it was the note he made a while ago.

For Sherwin . . .
