Just then the locker room door swung open. "She would be perfect Steph trust me." With that none other than Stephanie McMahon stepped into view. "You must be Lilith. Dean has been telling me about you."
I quickly stood up, shocked that Stephanie McMahon was actually here to meet me. She stuck her hand out and I shook it. "Oh wow yeah hi. Sorry I just wasn't expecting to meet you. Like ever." She laughed. After the years of watching her on TV I almost expected a coldness from her but she was completely different. "Now I understand you live in Portland?" I nodded my head as she continued. "Well Dean here seems to think you could bring something to this company and honestly after just one look at you I'd have to agree with him. Now I'm not sure what kind of role you would be interested in but if you would consider it; I believe, with a little practice, of course that you would be a great face in the women's division. However since you've never had any formal training I'd like to have you come out as dean's manager. Just until we can get you trained. So what do you say Lilith? Wanna be the newest addition to Monday Night Raw?" My head was spinning. My entire life has been jumping through hoops for people who didn't matter. Tonight though, I was being given an opportunity that I didn't know I actually wanted. "Wow thank you Stephanie. I honestly don't know what to say. Did he tell you about my boys? We don't have any family so I would have to bring them with me." Axel interrupted the conversation. "You're a mean lady on TV but you want my mama to be on raw? Mama we can't go back home now!" Stephanie laughed at his comments before directing her gaze back to me. She was waiting on an answer. "Well it seems to me that you don't have much of a choice. Why don't you come to my office after the show and I'll have your contract ready." I sighed in relief as she exited the room.
"Oh my god you're going to be on raw!" Brooke squealed in joy. Only then did I remember who I had to blame for flipping my entire life upside down. "Jonathan David Good! How dare you do this shit! I've busted my ass to keep my boys in a stable environment since their dad died. Here you come barely 2 hours into knowing you and uproot us from everything they know! Brooke watch Ax I've gotta go cool down." I stormed out of the room clueless as to where I was even going. All I knew was that I needed to clear my head and really think about this. God I wish Brandon was still alive. He would have helped me through this.
I found an empty hallway and sat down on one of the equipment trunks that were kept there out of the way. About ten minutes of silence passed as I heard a familiar voice talking on the phone. It was Dean. "No man I don't know where she went. Well what the hell was I supposed to do? I couldn't let her just leave or I might have never seen her again." My heart was racing as he looked up and met my gaze. "Colby I'll call you back." He hung up and took the spot next to me. "Lil I'm sorry if I over stepped okay but just hear me out." I stayed silent waiting for him to continue. "Can I just say first that you flipping out on me was one of the hottest things I've ever seen." That made me laugh and shake my head. He hopped down and stood directly in front of me. "You have every reason not to stay if you don't want to so I'll understand but seeing you with Ax and Bry makes me want more for you. You're beautiful and charming without even trying to be. I know we've just met today but shit from the second I saw you in that book store and then noticed your shirt; I knew I had to talk to you. Please stay. I'll train you. Besides do you really want to work in a bar the rest of your life?" I let out a sigh before responding. "I know you were just trying to give me an opportunity so I shouldn't have gone off on you so I'm sorry about that. I guess it just freaked me out a little. For the past three years I've been so afraid to leave Portland out of fear that the boys would forget their father. I never thought about living for myself as well. Thank you Dean." I said as he grabbed my hand. "I don't know your story okay but I do know that no one should have to fight to make ends meet and those boys should have a family. That's what this company will give all three of you." A single tear fell and he caught it. "Here comes Mark it's probably time to start." Mark walked up to us and gestured for Dean to follow before they both walked away. Before I knew it Brooke, Axel, Bryson and Finn had turned the corner in search of me. "Mommy there you are! I thought you left." Bryson ran to me and jumped in my arms. "I could never leave you buddy. Did you have a good time with Finn?" He nodded and climbed down whispering secrets to his big brother. "Everything okay?" Fergal asked placing a hand on my shoulder. At this point all four of them were waiting for an answer. "I wasn't sure a few minutes ago but yeah I think so. You guys are looking at the newest member of the Raw team." The boys went nuts and I saw Fergals eyes light up. "You're kidding me? I get to spend time with my awesome buddy Bry all the time now? How did this happen? Actually you can tell me about it later. Let me escort you to your seats."
The show started with Braun Strowman demanding competition and was given a match against Roman at payback. We watched for a while before the Miz and Maryse came out and like usual ran their mouths about Dean. Also like usual Dean attacked back before that snake Maryse hit him with the Mic so her husband could escape. The boys were so excited. Dean walked around the ring making his way to us. He leaned down picking Axel up while smirking at me and took off down the ramp. Fans murmured in confusion wondering who I was. I let it go and before long the demon king was making his entrance. "He's fine as hell." Brooke said in my ear. "Yes he most certainly is. Too bad you're practically married." I said back laughing. This caught Fergals attention and he pointed for a Mic. Little did I know Stephanie had given him and Dean a few new instructions prior to their matches that involved me. "What's so funny Miss Lilith?" Holy shit he was talking to me live on Monday Night Raw! I shrugged my shoulders which made him climb out of the ring and with the most piercing stare I've ever seen he bent down way too close to my face. I could literally smell the mint from his toothpaste. "What nothing to say? Hmm well in that case." And before I knew what was happening he threw me over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes. The lights went dark and when they came back on I had been taken backstage to the gorilla. "That was perfect. Now come on dear we've got work to do." I was so confused as Stephanie led me to her office to sign the contract.
