You've just been flown from your respective planets via space shuttle towards a relatively large moon orbiting both planets.
Landing, you're met with guards galore, a palace of sorts decorated for your arrival.
The royals' advisors, Zandara Marvelon and Cajun Corsair wait for you.

You are all taken inside the palace through gigantic chromium doors to a grand ballroom that looks to be made of lead and crystal. Food from all star systems are plentiful in an all-you-can-eat buffet style and a band plays an Terran (Earthen) style of classical music.
Candle-lit chandeliers hang from the massively tall ceiling and leave off a creepy glow on the dark walls, but the room's well enough lit to see where you're going.
