Chapter 2

Preparation ~

"Jimm!!! Stop running! *huff* Sh- * huff* She's gone Jimm! We'll find her tomorrow! It's getting dark!" Abbel exclaimed. He kept on yelling,but also trying to regain his breath.

I turned back to him, " No Abbel! I won't stop! We... have to find her.... " Before I knew it, droplets of tears were coming out of my eyes. It was my fault... she was taken because of me. Abbel went to me and pulled my arm. Dragging me back all the way to the castle.

He dropped me and turned around to face me. " Look., Jimm. I know how important Stella.. I mean, Princess Stella is to you. So, if you want to get her back.. You gotta have a plan."

We headed for the castle and Stella's father stopped us before we were able to reach the balcony. King Valwick, father of Stella and king of the land. It wasnt so long ago when we met. His face was as pale as water. His eyes were swelling up and the magic was dying.

" PLEASE!!! BRING STELLA BACK?! BRING MY DAUGHTER BACK!!! " he was pleading and kneeling before Abbel and I. "I cant lose Stella! Ive already lost my wife??!! "

I stared at him intensely, piercing into him. I sighed and stood up straight. " Okay!" I turned to Abbel," What's the plan? "

" First, train. It might take time,but.. You need it.. actually, we need it. Next, we track them. Then along the way, we'll figure everything out. " as soon as we got our things, we headed out.

"The sun sets where our path is met. We head east, where the sun sets. "I said and we rode our horses. We stopped along a creek and fed ourselves, along with the horses. Abbel looked frightened, he was searching for something. " Abbel? Are you okay? "

He shot a glance at me then searched again. " There's something in these woods,Jimm. There is, I can feel it. I'm even getting goosebumps. Lets go Jimm.. Lets continue, we'll find a place on the way. " He grabbed his things and got on his horse.

"What? What do you mean Abbel? There's noth- " I was interrupted by a loud noise. The smell of fresh forest was gone and a loud breathy voice was let out.

"Thump thump thump thump. I smell something small and fresh. It smells like human flesh. Hehe . Oh! And horsey's! Yum yum!" It was a giant. Not so far, not so close. He was there, just there, before I knew it Abbel had already passed out and my horse was taken. I ran to Abbel and his horse and headed off. The giant was still chasing us then, " Be strong."

It was the voice that led me. The sword began to glow and I took it out. I stopped the horse and and jumped down. I held it and felt stronger. It was like my body had it's own mind. I grew stronger, my mind was stronger. I had the confidence to fight!

The giant kept on walking forward toward me. I ran as fast as I could towards it. I held my sword out and jumped. Slashing it right through, then it finally came down. Into sparkles of light and stars, the giant finally disappeared.

I headed towards Abbel and saw that he was already awake. "Hey, what happened? " he asked. With a shining smile on my face I answered, " Nothing~" I continued looking at Abbel , only to see that he had powers. He was floating, actually, flying!

"Hey Jimm? Why are you so tiny? " Before I could answer him, he fell down due to wavering. " AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" I laughed and laughed and Abbel came over and pinched my ear. Dragging me over to the horse and we rode off. We still had a long way to the wizards castle.
