Chapter 24

---Error's POV---
I didn't know where I was. All around me was darkness.
Maybe this is what death feels like.
Maybe I'm somewhere in the multiverse. But right now I didn't care where I was. All I know is that I left blue with that killer.
I have failed everyone and I can't go back to help them.
"I have to get back. But how am I going to do it...?"
I've already walked and it seemed like this place was as endless as the void.
Not only that but my strings, gaster blasters, bones, and the ability to go to another Au were gone. I was stuck.
"Sans...? Is that you?"
I turned to the voice that was behind me and saw...
"Tori...?"
"Heh. Looks like you still remember me."
I couldn't help but smile as a single tear fell down my cheek.
"Of course I would remember you. You were one of my friends. But how are you here? I thought everyone...died...after the accident."
"We didn't die sans. We all just changed."
"Wait...does that mean that...everyone is alive? Even my brother?"
Her smiled faded a bit as I mentioned my brother.
"Papyrus...left to find you. I don't know where he is. But yes. He's alive."
Knowing that my brother was alive filled me with determination to find him one day.
"What about the others?"
"Where right here darling~"
Just like magic all of my friends were surrounding me. Seeing all of them again caused me to cry as I hugged Toriel. Everyone else then joined to make a group hug.
After a minute we all pulled apart as I wiped away my tears. But that's when I heard a new voice.
"...Sans..."
In front of me was frisk. She looked a lot different but still similar then the last time I saw her. They had tears in her eyes as they ran to me and hugged me tight. I hugged back.
"I'm sorry sans...I'm sorry for everything I've done. I wish I could've told you earlier."
"It's alright kiddo. You don't have to apologize."
After what felt like an hour to me they finally let go as she wiped away a few of her tears.
"I'm glad to see all of you but I don't understand. That nightmare took my soul. How am I alive?"
"You're not sans. You did die. We all did."
"But Tori said that we all lived."
"I lied to her about that. I want her to believe it. Because where you are right now there is still a multiverse. A multiverse of dead and destroyed Au's."
"How can I go back? I need to go back to save everyone."
I was lucky that everyone walked away a few meters so me and frisk could talk.
"The only way you can get out of her is with determination...or hate."
I tried to take out my soul to find I didn't have one anymore.
"But I have no soul."
"But together we all have enough determination to take you back there."
I looked at them an knew that if I did go back it would be a long time before I saw them again. But if I stay blue and everyone I love will die in hand of that monster. So I made my decision.
"I want to go back."
"Okey. I'll talk to them."
I nodded as she walked to them and began to talk to them.
They then walked to me.
"Are you sure you want to do this sans?"
"Yes. Please do it frisk."
She nodded her head and everyone surrounded me and each held their hands.
They began to whisper a type of chant or something as everything started to brighten up.
As the light grew I heard everyone's goodbyes.
"See you later punk!"
"G-good l-luck sans."
"Stay strong darling~"
"Goodbye sans."
"Do not give up!"
"Stay determined."
And all went white as I returned back home.
