No, We Can't Keep All Of These Cats

Park Minhyuk stared in disbelief at the mass of cats covering his living room floor and on his boyfriend, Moon Bin, who was absentmindedly petting one. Seriously. Not even an inch was cat-free.

"There's a perfectly good reason for all of these kittens being here," Bin began, trying to explain the situation.

"Are you sure? Because it looks like you stole a bunch of cats from the local pet store or something."

"Well..." Minhyuk's eyes narrowed.

"Did you fucking steal these cats from the local pet store?" He asked. Bin laughed nervously.

"Uh, no. Not really?"

"Not really? Not really? You're phrasing it as a question?"

"Well, uh, I didn't steal them, but y'know the Sistar Pet Store? The one down by NCT's Mini Cafe? They're closing down and the cats had nowhere to go and I wasn't gonna let the cats go to bad homes! So I volunteered to take them, and yeah. Here we are."

Minhyuk ran a hand down his face and sighed for the millionth time that day. He stared at the cats for a few more seconds while Bin just played with them. A brown tabby cat was laying on Bin's shoulder and four cats were draped over his lap. A white Persian rubbed its face onto Minhyuk's ankle and the rest of the cats just wandered around the not-so-large space.

"Well I guess... since they don't have anywhere else to go..." Minhyuk's sentence trailed off. Bin's small smile started to widen.

"They can stay?!" He asked loudly, startling a sleeping cat on his lap. Minhyuk sat down and let a big Maine Coon make its way into his arms.

"Not forever, but maybe for a few days. I'm pretty sure I heard Changgu mention once or twice that he and Yan An were looking for a cat. And I don't think that Youngkyun will mind if Chani brings home another one."

Bin looked ecstatic.

"That's great! But.. do you think we can keep one? Marshmallow and I have gotten really close." He held up the white Persian cat that had rubbed its face on Minhyuk's leg earlier.

"Sure."

They sat in silence for a little bit, just petting the cats and cooing every once in awhile when one of the cats did something cute before Minhyuk realized something.

"Where are they gonna poop?!"
