Once upon a time, In a world where second chances were given , jobs were chosen , only a school provided by royalty , only stealing was a crime everything. No one dared to break the rules of chances ;
1. You using your chance should not alter the future.
2. You using your chance should be of good to you and others.
3.You can only have a second chance not more than that.
The tree of chances has one for each (not my pic) take more then the penalty is death or be cast into the demon forest , death by birds , hanging etc.
Children are taught at an early age until the age 15/14 that they will be allowed to the "The school" they are taught to speak in Old English tongue i.e thou , mayest .
No magic is used except during war etc.
