Luke imagine with Aleisha:
"Aleisha, come here, babe. I want you to hear something." Aleisha walks over to Luke, who is sitting in front of his laptop.
"Recording yourself again, are we?" She says laughing and running her hand through his shaggy blonde hair.
"I just want your opinion before I upload it." Luke said smiling.
"I don't even need to listen to it, babe. I'm sure it's great," Aleisha smiles and kisses the top of his head.
"ok, I'll post it," Luke grins as he presses the upload button. "Come here," Luke says as he leans back on the couch. Aleisha leans back and puts her head on Luke's chest. He runs his fingers through her hair, and presses his lips to hers. They start to talk about how Luke's going to start putting up videos with his best friends, Calum, Michael, and Ashton. "You're going to do great; I always knew you would find something that you love. I'm glad you can do it with your friends too."
"It's the best feeling in the world," Luke says.
It seemed like every time Luke, Calum, Ashton, and Michael uploaded a video, it got a thousand more views than the one before it.
~
"Aleisha look! We reached 1,000 subscribers!" Luke said excitedly, wrapping her in a hug.
"Luke, you guys are famous!" Aleisha said accepting the hug and kissing him.She had no idea.
The next week, 5 Seconds of Summer put out 2 more videos that made 1,000 views look like child's play. More and more people were responding to their videos saying that they loved them. Luke would be at Aleisha's house when he looked through the comments and admired the amount of views. They would joke around and Aleisha would act as the adoring fan, pretending to faint everytime she heard him sing. They would watch videos and sing She Will be Loved, which they called "our song."
Pretty soon, the comments on their videos were exploding with requests and their twitter page had almost 50,000 followers. The band got together and decided that they wanted to do things outside of YouTube, and came up with the idea to release an EP. They posted the idea on twitter and were met with an overwhelmingly positive response.
One Friday evening, Luke and Aleisha go out on a date to the Jimmy's Diner. They start to talk about school, then the conversation shifts to their music class. They think of bunches of covers they could do and how to change them up, laughing about how messed up they could make it if they tried to. After finishing up their second hot dogs and downing their cokes, they left the diner and jumped in Aleisha's punch buggy convertible. They put the top down and sang along to All Time Low, blaring the music and hanging their hands out of the car. The sun started to go down, and Liz expected Luke home soon, so Aleisha drove him back there. they pulled into the driveway 10 minutes before he actually had to be home, so they sat in the car, not caring that he was 30 steps away from his house. They just wanted to be together because when they're with each other, nothing bad would happen. They always felt like they could be their complete selves around each other and had no fronts to maintain. As the 10 minutes drew to a close, Luke says "Well, I gotta go now." He reached over to brush her hair out of her face and rest his hand on her cheek. He leaned over the compartment in the center of the car and put his lips on hers. Aleisha put her hand on the back of his neck and scrunched her fingers in his hair. Luke pulled away and said, "I love you, Aleisha." She was taken back. "I love you too. I really do, Luke Hemmings." She smiled and they looked at each other the way they'd never looked at anyone else before. He leaned back over to plant a kiss on her forehead then turned to pull the handle and step out of the car. He grabs his guitar out of the trunk, from the previous day and walks up his front walkway with the crickets buzzing. He turns around at the doorway, flashes her a great big smile and blows her a kiss.
*The next day*
Luke woke up and sauntered over to his computer with just his boxers on. His messy morning hair and sleepy eyes made it hard to see the screen, but it wasn't hard to see the number of followers on the screen. 50,000 followers had now turned into 100,000 followers. People were spreading the news.
Shocked, he logged onto the band's twitter. He thanked the followers for all the subscribers before looking through his mentions and DMs. He read and responded to a few DM's before he saw one that caught his eye. It was from Hot Chelle Rae. It said:
"Hey guys! Love your stuff! We have a tour coming up, and it would be wicked if you could open for us! Let us know ASAP."
"Oh. My. Gosh." Luke stared at his computer screen in pure shock. He immediately ran down the hallway to show Liz and call Aleisha.
"That's amazing, son! what do you want to do?!" Liz exclaimed.
"I want to do it, of course! Mom, this is going to be amazing." Luke said as he ran down the hallway to get his phone. He dialed Aleisha's number and waited for her to pick up. "Hey, good morning, Luke." She said in a groggy morning voice.
"ALEISHA. You'll never guess what happened! Hot Chelle Rae want us to go on tour with them."
"AGHH!" Aleisha screams through the phone. Luke hears her parents shushing her from the other side of the phone telling her not to wake her baby sister. "This is absolutely incredible! You guys are going to be famous!" She whispers.
Luke got together with the other guys, and they all agreed that this would be an amazing opportunity.

Just a short month later, Aleisha sat on the bed trying not to cry while Luke packed. She knew that when she cried he would do anything to make her feel better; even if that meant not going on the tour. She couldn't let that happen. She stayed strong the whole time he was packing. She knew it was time when he put the last item laid out on the bed into the suitcase, zipped it, and sat down next to her on the bed.
"Aleisha..I can still say no.."
"No, Luke. This is your dream! I'm not going to let you give that up for me."
Luke nodded and set the suitcase on the floor.
"I think we need to discuss us," Luke says, looking down at his feet. "With me being away for so long, we're not going to be able to stay like this. We're going to be on completely different sides of the world, and I don't think I could take it if I knew you were here waiting on me to come home." A tear builds up in the corner of his eye and slips out. It rolls down his nose and drips onto his sweater. He sniffs and blinks his eyes to another tear from escaping his eyes. "I can't do that to you. You need to be able to do whatever you want and see whoever you want. It would hurt me so much less if I knew that you were free. I'm so sorry."
Aleisha scoots closer to him and wraps her arms around his neck. She nuzzles her head into his shoulder and uses her hand to wipe her eyes. "I.. I understand. I guess it's for the best." She looks up at him with her eyes red and stained with heartbreak. Her tears left a wet spot on the chest of Luke's sweater. Aleisha lifts her hand to his heart and touches the wet mark.
"Will..will you ride to the airport with me?" Luke says quietly.
"Of course" Aleisha said standing up. "C'mon. You don't want to miss your flight. You know the rest of the boys will leave you." Aleisha said, trying to laugh like they had done so many times before. Luke smiled weakly, took her hand and only let go for the few seconds it took to get his bag in and out of the trunk. In what seemed like a blink of an eye, they were walking through the airport, and it was time to say goodbye.
When they got to the terminal, Luke didn't say a word but just wrapped her in his arms one last time. They closed their eyes, but Aleisha couldn't hold on any longer. It hurt too much to know that he would soon be on his way, living his dream without her. It was no use trying to hold on to him now, but this thought only made tears start to trickle down again. This was it.
"Flight A54 now boarding," said a voice over the loudspeaker.
"Aleisha, I have to go. I won't forget you." Luke said while leaning down to hold her face in his hands one last time. He pressed his lips to hers for the last time. "Goodbye, Aleisha. I love you." Luke was led away by the Airport staff into the tunnel. The last thing he saw before boarding the plane was Aleisha standing there, tears streaming down her face.
He dealt with it the only way he knew how, writing a song. Sitting down to put music to the lyrics that caused him heartache every time he read them, a note slipped out of the hole in his guitar. He unfolded the sheet of paper that read "Just remember that I'll always be here, waiting on you to come home. I love you forever. Aleisha." Every night, he looked out over the crowd and sang the lyrics, "She was crying at the airport when they finally closed the plane door, I could barely hold it all inside" and hoped that he would see her face in the crowd. He never did. He sang "Every night, I almost call you just to say it always will be you. Wherever you are." All the girls in the crowd pretended like he was singing to them, but he knew exactly who the song was for. And she wasn't there.
