The mind and the mirror are best friends. They whisper to one another the lies that they'll feed to you. Each word sharper than the one before. Society aids them in spewing their ugly words at you, whether from other people's mouths or through words you read. Then one day the words slip out of your mouth and become what's deemed to be validation...that everything you've heard and everything you've read is true.
