Click. The most annoying sound anyone could hear before they are even able to finish what they need to say to the other person. A loud slamming sound is the next thing that has been heard. Why did this bother her? This has never bothered her before. "Vi. You're not a good liar even over the phone." Caitlyn gritted her teeth in attempt to calm down. She had no reason to be this upset. But, lately the rage comes to her and she couldn't understand why. It has been invading her life every now and then for the last couple of months every time her roommate pulled this stunt. Removing herself from the counter, she made her way to the small bag that had sat on the dining table. She reached in and pulled out her favorite tea and a couple packs of Vi's cigarettes. "Such a bad liar." She sighed heavily before placing them some place she knew Vi would be able to see them once she came in. Sort of a 'You been caught good luck getting out of this one' kind of thing.

Making her way towards the living room to put on her show, Cait had stopped by a clutter of pictures that hung on the wall. One had always grabbed her attention though. The day Vi had actually passed the police exam and officially became her partner. Partner. That word has made the brunette feel really uncomfortable lately. Was it because all of her friend have started families of their own and she was falling behind? She doubted that since it had never concerned her before.  She stared at the picture, the pink haired woman had the smuggest smile you would ever see. Her arm was slung around Cait's shoulder, pulling her in for a hug it would seem. Cait stared at her own facial expression, it seemed blank, despite her nice smile in it. But, she knew she felt really happy for Vi that day.

Walking away from the picture she had grabbed a mini toy dart gun. Vi had given it to her as a joke for her birthday last year. But, it was surprisingly useful. Taking a seat on the couch she had grabbed the remote and flipped the tv on. Clicking non stop until she finally made it to the channel her show was on. Part of her felt upset as she watched it. Vi used to watch it all the time with her, making fun of it during commercials. Yet despite all the taunting about it, she had seemed really into it herself. When did she stop? Had it really been that long since they last had time like that with each other?

Why was Vi even on her mind? Did she honestly feel that alone tonight? Suddenly a loud screeching sound could be heard coming from the kitchen, making Cait jump slightly. Quickly pulling her from her thoughts. "Oh right. The kettle." She quickly got up and rushed into the kitchen. Taking the kettle off the stove top and setting it on a burner that wasn't on. She grabbed the cup and spoon she had prepped, along with the tea she just bought. It didn't take long for her to make it how she liked and once she was finished she returned to her seat to watch the show. Honestly tonight was nothing but a roller coaster for her. Once she settled down though, she felt at peace. As time passed Cait's eyes slowly began to fail her. Her tea cup empty and her head laid on the corner of the sofa. She was out like a light. But, her senses were still on high alert for her pink haired menace.
